You keep proving my point over and over. You somehow see more Jews dying as a way to solve this conflict. You see weapons in Palestinian hands as a way to peace. Is this insane? Yes, clearly. Is it antisemitic? Possibly not intentionally, but it still is antisemitic.
There's no symmetry to this. You're just mimicking in some childish attempt to make things equal. Your statement was that giving the Palestinians more and greater weapons would lead to peace. All that would lead to is dead Jews, lots of them. We've seen what happens when Muslim governments have weapons or what they feel is superior force - they invade Israel. It happened multiple times in the 20th Century. Your "solution" will lead to more dead Jews. Of course, if enough Jews die, then you'll have the peace you so desire. Just a few million more dead Jews, right? RIGHT!
The article talks about sending internet access over an analog signal. I think the article writer was a bit off. More likely they're just using the bandwidth formerly used for analog TV, repurposing it to digital wireless broadband. I wish that happened here in the US. The whole comment about the number of users not mattering must be bupkus.
Here in Alameda County, we pay 9.75%. I still use NewEgg, and Amazon, and Walmart, and Kohls, and Home Depot, and the local Frys, and so on. I go with whomever has the best pre-tax price. After that, I don't much mind the tax unless the prices are exactly the same, which is rare.
And 9.75% is a pretty stupid tax. We're paying for public pensions here. I frankly don't want to pay a cop to retire then live at 120% of his last years' salary for the next 30 years. So I guess I side with Amazon.
The Germans elected Hitler and his party. How did that go? Being elected does not give a government legitimacy; it just helps. Since Hamas was at war with Fatah at the time, with shootings and dropping people off the tops of buildings, the election could be considered "irregular" by anyone.
How about $.99 per song pirated, both by the user and those downloading from the user? Seems fair. Add another couple thousand for legal fees as a penalty.
"According to reality, being critical of the policies of the state of Israel is not the same as being anti-semitic."
Funny, I just read an article by a truly out antisemite, complaining about how people were too afraid to complain about Jews and instead complained about Zionists. He went so far as to say how people would agree with everything he said about Zionists, but the moment he said the same things with the word Jews, they grew uncomfortable. It's just code words and you know it.
As for rebuilding supplies, they're far from banned. They're just limited and monitored, albeit badly, to ensure that they're not redirected to Hamas, you know, like most cars, medicine, and other forms of aid are.
I love how people hate the Jews so much, they'll advocate for twisted, bigoted, purely evil people like Hamas.
According to reality, Israel lets everything without an obvious and direct military purpose into the country. There are and have been plenty of computers, food, medicine, cell phones, and other consumer goods in Gaza. You just need to stop reading the antisemitic websites and meet the truth. Gaza isn't Darfur, it's the welfare capital of the world.
They're not members of the People's Halo Liberation Front. No, the Front for People's Halo Liberation. No, the Liberation of Halo People's Front. Never mind.
But seriously, I was so pissed when those SOB's went to the Dark Side. I remember watching them demonstrate Halo at MacWorld in '99. Then the knife in the back...
My first Smart Phone was a Kyocera 6035. I've used them for longer than most people. I know all about the so-called "paradigm" you're talking about. It's crap. Give me a 800x480 screen for mobile use; and a real OS, video out, USB, and BT for desktop use. Then I'll have all the mobile devices in one, which is the proper "paradigm".
Apple switched the OS because they want to lock in the software market. If the iPhone was a real computer, Apple couldn't do that. They also want to get away from x86 so they can pay less for processors. I'd rather pay more to get a massive choice of software, freedom, and far greater utility.
And as for x86 being bloated, the interpreters take a smaller and smaller portion of the die. Meanwhile, instruction extensions have increased performance dramatically, and production technology has far more dto do with overall performance. x86 bloat has been a non-issue on the desktop for many years, hence the death of all its competitors. The G5 was crap compared to a Core Duo. So where does that leave the mobile space? We've reached the point where x86 can work fine in a phone, and in a couple more generations, there won't be any important difference in power usage between an x86 and ARM processor. 1/2 watt versus 1? Do we really care if the phone gets 48 hours or 72 hours of battery life? No, we usually don't.
Give me a phone where I can run an x86 operating system and x86 software. Give it a USB port, HDMI (or similar) output, and a fast SSD drive. Then I can take it to work, plug it in, and use it. Then, at the end of the day, I can drop it in my pocket, take it home, plug it in, and use it. A consistent computing environment would be great. Right now, I use three machines on a regular basis. This is being typed through Remote Access.
Oh, and I want a phone where I can play Wasteland! IJKL, baby. Gimme some blood sausage.
They don't care about your chess hobby. They don't care about you. Not Apple, not Google, not Microsoft, not Donner, not Blitzen. You're a number, a nothing. The cloud will swallow you whole.
Their games are mostly played online, and they've left out home network play. Their DRM is not the usual crippleware, it's the new kind of crippleware that puts necessary software on the server while taking away features gamers have loved for over a decade.
Take care of it through their own security efforts including going to rogue servers and unplugging the damn things.
And is that bank in charge of security when another nation's troops invade? No, of course not. The same should be said for cyber-security. Frankly, the cyber-security levels of our nation are pretty low. Laws need to catch up, and the government needs to help make it happen. I look forward to the day when all LAN connections are automatically encrypted end to end, not relying on some crappy wireless standard.
Yes, the military can (and probably does already) have their own network. However, damage will be done to our country via the regular internet. Imagine if, one day, all the bank accounts in the country went to millions of dollars or to zero? The military is, hopefully, going to take care of those kinds of scenarios. We need a central command to handle such attacks.
They "deserve their own state"? Do the Chechnyans, Kurds, Bedoins, Coptic Christians, Atheists, Mestizos, Tibetans, Taiwanese (not Chinese immigrants), each individual native tribe, Aborigines, Okinawans, and so on deserve their own state? Frankly, every single one of those groups deserve their own state more than the Palestinians, who are largely just Arab Muslims. None of those groups supported terrorist leadership while suckling off the international teat for the past 50 years, and none have a homeland. Last I checked, Arab Muslims have many states of their own, mostly cleansed of other religions, especially those darned Jews.
Yes, Israel has leaned to the right compared to their communist/socialist beginnings, but they're still to the left of the American Republican party. It's a natural reaction to the constant calls for death, the repeated Palestinian rejections of peace, the absolute Palestinian intransigence, the Gaza vote for terrorist Hamas, the spitting in Israel's face over the withdrawal from both lebanon and Gaza, and so on, and so on, and so on. There's no peace because the Palestinians don't love their children nearly as much as they hate the Jews - end of story. They've never missed an opportunity to miss and opportunity.
It's just plain nasty to say they'll implement Jim Crow laws. You're buying into the antisemitic apartheid BS foisted by the far left. Israeli Arabs know they've got it better economically than pretty much anywhere else in the region, and they also know they absolutely have far more freedom than anywhere else. The list goes on and on, but I'm so off topic here in response to your off topic post, it's all a waste.
Last I checked, there are Muslims and Arabs in the Knesset. As for Israeli corruption, it certainly exists and needs combating, much like in any nation. In comparison to their neighbors, corruption is pretty darn low. In comparison to the US, it's likely higher.
As for non-Jewish Israeli citizens outpacing Jewish growth, I think it's not going to happen.
As for Muslim states, there are plenty in the region. Too bad none of them want the Palestinians, treating them far worse than Israel does.
"Prop up" implies that the people of Israel don't support it. Indeed, they do - it's a democracy. The people support it by definition. If you want a theocracy, look around at the neighbors.
And no, Israel is under no obligation to give citizenship to the Muslim Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. If you think they are, maybe you should push for the surrounding Muslim population to give citizenship to their Muslim Palestinian populations first. Funny how the UN doesn't pass resolutions for that to happen.
You keep proving my point over and over. You somehow see more Jews dying as a way to solve this conflict. You see weapons in Palestinian hands as a way to peace. Is this insane? Yes, clearly. Is it antisemitic? Possibly not intentionally, but it still is antisemitic.

Yes, as long as Jews die in greater numbers, we will have peace. Right? RIGHT!

"It is truly unfortunate that Israel had to turn away your shipment of apostrophes."
Hamas took the UN apostrophes at gunpoint and is now selling them in their own stores at a dramatic markup.

Wait, let me try again...
PTSD in cyberspace involves pasty skin and no social life beyond Facebook.

Happy Feet was a fun movie. How dare you?
In slow motion, please.
