What I'd be more concerned about is that when I was working with the International Atomic Energy Authority (UN) about 4 years ago the entire outfit was still being run off an old IBM Series 360 Mainframe. I hadn't seen one of those since the mid 90's
It's not just radiation. Thanks to Io's volcanoes there's a lot of sulfur dioxide trapped in the magnetosphere which by the way reaches almost as far as Saturn's orbit.
