    I love AllRecipes.com. In fact I'm planning on putting a touch-screen flat panel in my kitchen so I can use that site from there.

    Everything from vegetarian to carnivore to bread machine recipes are there.

    WOW! This does sound fascinating but I hope it comes with a better manual, the info from MS' page info doesn't even explain what type of batteries it requires:

    not only are SCO's IP ambitions doomed, but its Unix interests are a "trailing negative" on the road to dropping from 10% of the market to 3%-5% in a few years and then "SCO will be irrelevant," he said.

    Assuming this court case is settled in Linux' favour, SCO will be irrelevant the next day. No company will want to deal with a firm that sues its own customers.

    If you like Python, check out Ruby. I've been monkeying around with it at work for small things. It's like Perl but readable.. and object oriented from the ground up.. and easy to work with.. hmm, on second thought, it's nothing like Perl.

    Read that again: investigators became suspicious after listening to the call. They basically admit to what people have suspected for years: that intelligence agencies cast a broad net to monitor all sorts of communications traffic with little regard to the law or your privacy.

    Naturally, playing the Fear Card will let them justify their actions. "Fear" is government's best excuse for carte blanche destruction of your freedoms.

    The company is marketing the Aspire 1710 as a replacement for desktops or PC workstations primarily in the workplace.

    Stupid, stupid, stupid.

    A laptop with docking station does the same thing with far less luggable weight, albeit at a higher price.

    3 GHz P4. OK, that's pretty nice.

    1 GB RAM. Nothing special about that.

    160 GB disk. So what? How many offices don't have a server to store everything on?

    DVD burner. Optional on some laptops and you can always use an external to a docking station.

    Kitchen Sink. So what? Carry a small bottle of Purell in your pocket.

    This has got to be a "Hail Mary" to keep brand recognition in the portable market or one of the worst marketting decisions this year.

    I realized this was happening years ago. My solution? Run with just 16 MB of RAM and a 4 GB swap partition. Sure, my machine gets a bit pokey but it keeps the cartel from stealing my money.

    Every 15 minutes or so, the unit judge would take the cards and give them back to us book judges. When a Diebold rep showed up, I asked her about this, and she said that it was done to give the voters a sense that nothing was being kept on the smartcards about their voting session.

    The Diebold rep is basically admitting that at least some of the security and privacy promises in electronic voting are based on user perception, not reality.

    If their web site doesn't run Linux, I wonder how SCO determined that Autozone is a Linux user.

    A simple google for "autozone" and "linux" turned this up: Red Hat to service AutoZone stores, stock surges. To me this is a two pronged attack; one against Linux users, another against the largest Linux distribution company..

    Neither. Being that it's part of SCO's pump and dump scam I'd call it fraud.
