Because I'm not seeing it. Data caps have been a thing even on home connections. That obviously took care of any major problems they had. Why change rules around that could be potentially catastrophic?
Jeremy Wade is more into freshwater, but I'm pretty sure he would approve of this. Do I speak out of turn?
While I'm here using a supposed celebrity endorsement that is entirely of my own imagination, I think this is a move in a good direction. It does seem hard to count the fish accurately even with some major change like cancelling most fishing... the fish should be increasing in number, so any detrimental effects would be masked for a good while, right?
They'll find a way to screw you (a nation) if you aren't careful. Japan tends to save money, stow it away in a bank, and cook more than the USA. So where is their money going? Housing is more expensive, fuel more expensive, travel in general more expensive, more taxes, more government fees on vehicles, and I don't even know what else.
It makes me think the general population is under attack by the wealthy or powerful no matter where you are. Maybe that is right.
But yeah, I know plenty of people who just straight waste money nonstop when they can't afford it. I'd recommend making your own meals 90% of the time, drinking free stuff at work, getting the cheapest phone deal possible, cancelling junk TV service, etc.
It costs me about a dollar a cup. I have the boring simple drip coffee maker pot. I have to make a minimal of 4 cups or it doesn't work correctly. And so I generally waste most of my coffee I make.
Are most drip coffee makers like this? Maybe this is part of the reason people buy stuff at Starbucks or wherever.
Whatever you do, don't spend a dollar of your money on anything you want. Consider your money to actually be the money of all the companies that exist on the stock market. Be sure to invest every single nickel you have, and hopefully you'll die before you retire.
I for one enjoyed reading the summary. I kept thinking to myself was it the same bag over and over or was he really piling the crumbs on this device? Did he simply leave the device in the bag 24/7... or did he just put it in there whenever he wanted time off. I guess I'm off to read the article.
I'm liking FF 57 myself. Going to miss a couple of plugins that haven't updated yet, but hopefully that is just around the corner. Holy crap where is noscript?! OK, need to go look that up right quick.
Anyway, regarding another post in this thread, I love FF at least leaves the "save page" option under the first click menu, instead of being way buried like in Chrome. Annoys me to no end when I use Chrome.
Compiled stats on mass gun shootings in US for a few decades. I haven't verified they are 100% accurate, but they do have references.
You can try to look for patterns. One of the things I noticed is the vast majority of the guns were obtained illegally, whatever that means in each case. One thing that was very common was there were a lot of military people involved. There were also a lot of unhappy workers involved shooting up their old places of work. Plenty of mental health issues all around.
Point to take home, steer clear of being a dick to people at work or ex-military people who used to kill people for a living.
+1 mod. Well... I'd have to say this could sadly be the case. While certain military aspects are done to the T (funerals, general healthcare), others fall to the wayside.
Glad the new people made Google do something about it. You can blame the parents or whatever you want, but the end result is kids who are being exposed to messed up stuff is a problem, and they aren't wise enough to avoid it themselves.
Snopes and some other "experts" say it's not about the black death. I just learned this earlier today... man the matrix i mean internet is weird like that.
No concern at all. When someone under the age of paranoid computer expert installs a dog face app sees the "allow app access to xxxxx" they will immediately say yes so they can use their app the one time. Eventually someone will abuse this data, and while you and I won't be affected, somebody you know and love might be. Or you know, half the population or something. It is a concern because data on facial mapping is going to be extremely detailed in the iPhone.
Is it just me, or does it feel like the investors of this website just want everything to have "AI" in it to help their stock? My AI trust sensors are AI on overload, AI.
Actually that South Korean stat was from before the age of tablets and phones. All the studies I read said they stayed inside too much and studied too much... even so far as to conclude that reduced sunlight exposure was the main cause of the nearsightedness.
On tablets and especially iPads, a few things that might help are...
1. Log into a gmail/google account with safe surfing or whatever they call it turned on. That helps protect them random searches from the Safari browser as well as youtube. Don't show/teach your kids where those settings are.
2. Don't let the kids ever play with these devices behind closed doors.
3. Tell the kids that if they see something gross, weird, bad,... or anything that makes them feel uncomfortable, to turn if off... and tell their parents so the parents can try to help prevent them from seeing icky stuff.
4. Limit that shit. It's too easy to get lazy and not realize they are spending too much time on those devices. I worry about posture and general health of the kids more than anything. Every day, or a few times a day, we are telling our kids "all electronics off, play outside for a while, it is nice out there"... and we join them half the time to make sure they understand we too enjoy the outdoors.
Right? Pigs that go wild are supposedly destroying land and pushing out native wildlife all over the US. Do we need to make them even more resilient (to weather)?
Are you quite sure that the media just doesn't cover the bad minority of law enforcement and it is appearing to be much more prevalent than it really is? Out of all the cops I've dealt with in my life,... a dozen or so... most of them were very decent people. One had an anger problem, but by and large they were looking out for the public.
On topic, the FBI are not your typical cops. I think they should concentrate on getting the bad guys without having access to everybody's personal info.
Surely safety concerns are large. Engineering and construction firms need to be worried. If you source from these fake stat metal guys, you probably need to put fudge factor into calculations unless the metal is tested to know what its strength really is.
Mosquitoes pollinate plants and provide a food source for probably a billion other things. Most of the time they aren't even biting people, but sucking plant juices right? I do hate them all the same, but they aren't useless.
But holy crap, what percentage of flying insects are gone? 25% less or 75% less???? Either way this does sound like something really dangerous is happening... no way is normal life on earth going to exist "normally" if such a huge biomass and basis for so much food is missing.

They know getting them early is a nice way to get people comfortable (aka hooked). As bad as big tobacco?
Well, I can't wait for one of my kid's friends to ask for him to get onto Facebook so he can message him. HAHAHA, NO.
I'm voting for No unless you manually change it to Yes... and not by some popup.

I'm trying Amazon and only finding the old DVDs... where is the new one again?
I was enjoying this comment till the anti-rural thing came out. Why dirty your post with that?

Major correction (post attempt 2): Majority of guns were obtained Legally. Sorry about that.

Hell, this could be a much bigger worry you bring up. Apple, you better secure the crap out of your camera.

I don't disagree.
