Wii -> Alternative games
PS3 -> Traditional Japanese style
360 -> Traditional American
You forgot: Dreamcast -> dead system
I know this comes as a shocker to you all...
If that superultraawesome indie music appealed to anyone other than holier-than-thou college students with stupid hair who stop listening to a band the moment someone who bathes admits to listening to them, then the band would have been signed to a major label.
Thanks for the links, I will take a look when I get home.
Your comment about the Alienware laptops isn't entirely true...my m7700 is Clevo with a different top on it and uses MXM PCI-e cards. Buying them through Alienware is absolutely crazy, however. Before I voided my warranty by flashing my own BIOS with one from their support site (go figure) I had them send me a replacement card as mine had went on the fritz. The price for my outdated card (7800GTX Go) was absurd (in the area of $1200USD for just the card). Thankfully, they replaced it after a nice, calm and collected conversation I had with my script-read...I mean, support representative.
Just wondering...I have an Alienware m7700 that could really use a new card to put some life into it. Does anyone know if there is a place to just buy these cards without having to go through Dell, Alienware or some other company of that sort? Any linkage would be appreciated.
Yes, I was dumb enough to buy a lappy from Alienware...definitely catches attention in the airport, though.
You think 9% of gamers is too low to mess with, but Mac/Linux gamers (not just users), which is bound to be even lower, is worth it somehow? How is it BOUND to be even lower? I fail to see how you jump to this conclusion.
As has been mentioned several times over, the majority of Linux users are avid gamers. Unfortunately, to get our fix on most games, WINE or Cedega has to be part of this equation. Using WINE will identify to your (Windows) software that it is running on whatever version of Windows you set it to act like, which in turn would skew results of surveys like this.
If I am missing something, let me know...I'm still relatively new to the Linux scene, and I don't plan on leaving it.
From TFS:
and you will be able to pick up daily quests so you have something to keep you from falling asleep as you go back to the same dungeons or battlegrounds again and again. I know there are a lot of WoW bashers, but I have to assume there are some WoW players here as well. I don't know about the rest of you, but doing dailies makes me want to rip my hair out......well, I guess that does keep me from falling asleep.
With your second point in mind...
Not everyone is going to go out and drop "1000's of dollars" for an HDTV. In fact, the masses will probably go out this holiday season and buy TVs mostly using 720p instead of 1080p. Why? Price and marketing. These TVs fall into that 500-700 dollar category that seems to be the sweet spot for most buyers. Also, that 500-700 dollar set also has the magic letters HDTV on it, which most people will just look for that instead of 480p, 720p, 1080i, or 1080p.
The people that will be looking for these players at KMart will fall into this category.
Next question.

If only I had mod points...
I'd just fall asleep repeating "IDDQD" to myself.
It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum...but my dentures can't handle bubblegum.

Dammit...yeah, I'm new here.
MacGyver can also make his own mod points with a series of tubes, tropical-fruit Bubble-Yum and a Mountain Dew bottle.

Actually, these cards are replaceable. This module is very easily removed and uses a standard mxm pci-e interface so that they can be changed out.
Don't bring flames if you don't know what you are talking about.

Autoplay != Autorun
A few posts up already shows this, which can be disabled with a registry tweak.
...don't make them angry. You wouldn't like them when they are angry...

It will cost you, though....ONE MILLION DOLLARS.
