    A good friend suggested to me a few years ago, that all children at age 10 should be reversibly sterilized. This would be mandatory, and paid for by taxpayers. The procedure could not be reversed until their 21st birthday, this procedure would be paid for by the person requesting it. Priced on a sliding scale so that it would be inconveniently expensive, say one months take home pay. Think of the advantages no more teenaged pregnancy. Anyone who wants kids will already have proven that they are willing to sacrifice for their children.
    When I am declared Supreme Dictator for Life, this will be the first policy I will enact.

    Sure you can have lots of RAM for quite cheap, but most people won't ever need that much RAM.

    That reminds me of something I said when a friend of mine showed me his new super Giantor 1 Gig hard drive. (Obviously this was many years ago.) or even earlier when someone said "640K ought to be enough for anybody."

    When I worked for WorstBuy Canada, every time a new model Mac would come out. I knew I would be seeing a pile of Mac returns starting in about a week. They would have lots of generic faults listed as the reason for the return, but 95% of them I wiped the drive, reinstalled the software and right back to the store.
    I used to think of it as "Returned because my pirated copy of Office doesn't work."

    You forgot to put "In my opinion." in your post.
    In my opinion, the Corvette has sucked ass since about 1983.
    In my opinion, the GTO is too big, too slow, underpowered, and handles like a wet sponge.
    I have never seen or driven a GM car that did not suck ass.

    I worked for a GM dealer for 5 years, and I parked my 15 year old Honda two blocks away and walked.

    I can't recall the last car GM made that didn't "Suck ass".
    They should just make a small diesel car. The American auto makers keep saying the the people don't want small cars, and the people don't want diesel. It seems to me more that they don't want to build small diesels. All my friends love diesel, and most prefer smaller cars.

    I can think of one use right off.
    If person typing an email is hitting keys harder than normal. Delay sending the message for a few hours, as they are probably angry and might wish they had not sent the message.

    They've finally found a use for the tail fins on a 1962 Impala. Now they're looking in junk yards to find some good copies of them and plan to weld them on to next year's Prius.

    Finally they found something to make the Prius less butt ugly.
    Back on topic. I follow the HIV research quite a lot as I had a good friend die a few years back due to an infection related to AIDS, so I do read most of what is published. Perhaps I am wrong, but this sounds like it might have potential as a treatment as well as a preventative.

    I have been for almost 5 weeks. Where I live (British Columbia, Canada) buying the patch costs me just slightly less that half what my pack a day habit cost me. So I am saving $ and feeling better. Any schizophrenics out there, just head to your local drug store and pick up the patch.
    One unexpected bonus is that I have never been able to remember dreams. But since I started on the patch I have had some of the most amazing dreams, and I remember them when I wake up.
