My gut reaction is that they just haven't announced 3.1 yet, just to give it time to propagate to the mirrors. Why else would it be called "3.1" and reside in the "stable" directory?
The source code for Quake 2 was relesed months ago. There has already been several ports of Q2 to AmigaOS, so there's no reason to think it hasn't been ported to MorphOS too.
I don't know if you're just trolling, but I felt that I had to reply.
You say "stop buying it" is the solution, and not a lawsauit. But what about those that have already bought the DVD? They have already given their money to Buena Vista/Disney. Stop buying is not an option for them.
You continue on to compare it to a restaurant. In most restaurants I know of, you eat first, and pay later. If the food is not satisfactory, you take it up with the manager or restaurateur or who ever may be in charge. Chanses are, you won't have to pay, and perhaps even get an apology for the lousy food you've just been served. At least they will try to rectify the situation, even if that means just giving you a new dish, hopefully better prepared/cooked.
In this very case, Buena Vista states that the redish tint is normal, and they have no reason to give you your money back. They have it, and the only thing left to do is to sue them.
I don't understand spanish, so I haven't read the article, but the DivX player for Dreamcast is extremely anal about bitrates. I have yet to play a DivX on my Dreamcast with acceptable quality.
Well, I'll tell you why. In the article, the author compares a wordprocessor to a pen and a paper, where everything you write gets "stuck" on the paper, while in the computer world you have to manually "Save" the work before anything really gets written. This, he deducts, is an arbitrary obstacle, and not intuitive at all.
On the contrary, my dear Watson. What if I change something in my Word document, but later on decides it was no good and wish to discard it? Nope, sorry. My old document is already rewritten with no turning back. Or is he suggesting that everyone should always make a copy of a document before editing it, just in case? Wouldn't THAT seem terrible unintuitive?
The "Save" function is one thing that separates the wordprocessor from a real pen and paper, and it certainly has it's uses.
Except that NuSphere aquired mysql.org, not com. mysql.org has never belonged to MySQL AB, it's just that it used to point directly at mysql.com before NuSphere aquired it.
Hey! Here I am, sitting comfortably with my old non-wireless (wired?) Trackman Marble FX, and I don't even have a drivers license. Does that mean that I could just walk in to any traffic school and go: "Hey. Just give me my drivers licence! I have a Marble FX, and I'm good with it, so I don't need to take any of your stinkin' tests!" ?
Obviously, it's their way of saying: "Yes, you can compile it on your own, but we're not gonna help you. If you fail, tough. We told you it was hard." Which, in my book, is totally fair. They do distribute binaries, after all.

I think you're overlooking one small tidbit; this software PVR is available for use by europeans, now!. TiVo isn't, and probably never will. Therefore, this software doesn't really have any competition in europe, yet.
> For those of you who haven't looked into it, check out OpenBSD's *AMAZING* ability to be an invisible bridge (not only can it invisibly bridge, but it can filter the bridge as well, which is something other OS'es have yet to be able to do).
I used linux to set up a bridge and then used ethereal to sniff the virtual bridge interface several months ago. Worked like a charm, yet the machine was impossible to detect. I have no idea how long bridging has been in the Linux kernel, but OpenBSD certainly isn't the only OS that's able to sniff traffic while bridging.
Proof? What proof do you have that the laptop is not merely running an imageviewer that displays screenshots from a real Amiga?
Now, I happen to own a copy of AmigaOS XL (Amithlon and AmigaXL) so I know it's real, but I wouldn't call it proof just because the laptop displays a picture of AmigaOS 3.9.
It was modded as "Interesting" at the time. I have dealt with it. Hence, my message.
Congratulations! It's the first time I've seen the "*** is dying" getting modded up. You deserve a standing ovation for your deed.

Ok, there seems to be some confusion here:
1. AIDS can not become airborne, because;
2. AIDS is not a virus, it's a condition. HIV is a virus.
My stats. What can I say? The same results, almost; 6.7%
..and that's not the Quake 3 icon. That's an icon for plain old ordinary Quake, and then Quake 2 right beside it.

Quake 3, on the other hand... Hmmmmm...

My desktop. What more is there to say? ;) Right now, I can't understand how I could ever live without it :)
Cool.. Care to mention where one would turn to pick up an iBook for $600?

International STandard Realtime.
To whom?

Enough already. We got it. It's April 1. Haha. Very funny. Now, stop it!
Since the blurb says "IBM compatible PC", is it really that hard to figure out that it's using an Intel-compatible CPU?

It's right here
And it's AGP 2x, not 4x.
