What's needed aside from better filtration tools (show only apps that are free sorted by download)
is the ability to search common sense sentences. "I'm looking for an app that will help me organize receipts for my taxes."
Then it would allow you to filter results by reviews, ratings, downloads, number of current users.
My MBA professor recommended starting a network marketing company to improve social and communication skills beyond those you can pick up in the tech industry. Hard to find a good one with a decent education and training support system but overall worth looking.

Cars that drive themselves enough so we can look at the touchscreen (Preferably a Tesla-sized touchscreen). Removes the problem of distracting touchscreen interfaces to begin with. Add Siri-like voice control for more flexibility.
Maybe there is a mental link from what your mind is experiencing to the energy it supposes you are consuming. If you are playing FPS games and performing high-energy maneuvers, perhaps your mind gives you the urge to feed to replenish the supposed loss of calories. Action gaming does increase your adrenaline, perhaps it does the same to your metabolism and "need to feed".
Here's a good place to start, find out if the games you want to play are actually playable, figure out what the minimum requirements are. most likely whatever is in your budget will be able to handle it.

ISPs offer a certain Bandwidth at a certain price for unlimited usage. Common sense dictates that they would analyze the bandwidth available to the area divided by the users to come up with that number. Why are these networks unable to deliver on their basic service agreement? It's very simple, give me the speed i paid for, that you claimed you could provide, without restriction.
What if i owned a CD and played it on a friends computer. Am i making the music available because the computer can copy the files from my CD? How about if I take my computer to fix at a repair shop, is my mp3 collection making music available to the techs? Without proof of distribution how can the RIAA say that just because it was made available that it was actually shared. Is this the equivalent of charging assault but not battery? Where was the crime! They need to prove that placing these files into a shared folder indicates an intent to distribute (don't know how easy this is IANAL) hopefully beyond just making available.
Wait, isn't science like math based on axiomatic assumptions as well. Epistemology states that science is based on the assumption that everything can be explained using naturalistic arguments that are capable of being observed and interpreted. Just like math can be based on Euclidean geometry or non-Euclidean. A system of knowledge cannot be judged simply based on it's base tenants but rather on it's epistemic method of gathering knowledge.
I'm not going to disbelieve that a historical battle happened because there was only one account of it that could have been forged. It's just how that discipline operates.
I guess the question could be can ID be considered a science (probably not), and is evolution science worthy (up for debate). I posit that evolution is a hybrid of science and history.
Just think of a similar discipline like psychology which is also based on a complex subject that tries to portray itself like science when in reality it is a string of inductive reasoning not subject to the rigor of math or even science.

If i'm not mistaken there is a two year contract of exclusivity that is in the way of either company seeking another partner. Apple is under contract to sell the iPhone to only be used with ATT for two years. What it does afterwards is up for debate.
Apple is obviously not restricted to any mobile service provider, it can just as easily unlock and use another cell carrier. But, anyone who has a legit bought iPhone will also have an ATT contract which will ensure ATT gets their money one way or another. The lost money comes from ATT's training, infrastructure upgrades to voicemail, and marketing dollars, Apple stands to lose much less from switching to another provider.
We are comparing two completely different disciplines. SETI is not inventing or producing a product based on scientific principles. It's trying to record data. The discovery of an alien race by hearing an intelligible signal isn't science at all, it's a historical discovery of a years old signal from a now ancient civilization. Who knows, the signal would take so long to get to us that the aliens would have blown themselves up already after concluding they were alone in the galaxy and resorted to civil wars.
now now, i don't think world domination is what we should be expecting here. First, robots will have to learn to lubricate on their potty pads. Then comes forcible amputations.
Refresh my memory, but when you use an mp3 encoder to convertthe information from a cd track to a computer data file, is it considered a derivative work subject to copyrights? What is the law that allows us to tape record radio songs?
Now that the porn market has "penetrated" the Mac's operating system. What else can't it do? It popularized the internet, destroyed BetaMax...
If the porn industry wanted to participate in Google's Lunar Landing contest i'm sure they'd have a shot at winning, though their ship would probably look suspiciously phallic...

Make the game available through digital download only. Never make a physical copy that can be resold. Sell it on Steam or XBLA or PSN. Profit. Done.

I believe the guy mentions in the first few minutes of video that he has to be under a 100 MB file size limit... Might not do as much damage

Riaa about to go the way of the Northern Spotted Owl http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Spotted_Owl if a tree falls on an RIAA lawyer in the forest... does anyone care?
