Great, so the bill is passed and Uncle Sam tells his people that they are safe from fraud. *Gasp* a new site pops up. But it's not on the blocked list. The people rejoice, they can once again help out the Nigerian Prince, and this time it's not a scam... ZOMG!!!!1
More people then ever get burned because they no longer have to apply common sense to the web, the govt is there to help them. I wouldn't be surprised if the site uses it's stats as not being on the list as a proof of legitimacy.
By the time the site has been blocked, the scammers have made far more money then they would have in the same timeframe off the old site, and it's time to setup the next scam.
Actually, now that I think about it, does anybody know if a Nigerian prince is somehow a lobbyist backing this bill, or at the very least, padding the pockets of the politicians?
That just makes driving more of a sport. Besides how else can we protect ourselves against those new extra bright headlights Canadian Tire keeps advertising?
It's also illegal to tint your car windows too darkly as someone could have a gun and the police wouldn't be able to see it. I've seen people get fines for their windows, I've never seen a tinting shop get in trouble.
Bah, it's just a filler law. If they find a phone of a predator, it's something else that the predator can be charged with.
It also gives the cops a reason to take your cell phone if your filming them... "I didn't hear your phone make the required noise, your going to have to give me that phone or I'll arrest you".
Updates exist to protect you from new virus threats. As the machines aren't networked, getting those new viruses would be very tricky as well.
The real question is why wasn't joe spaceman's usb key scanned (assuming he brought it) as well as all other computer equipment before the shuttle took off?
Guess that's new with this version of the iPhone. My buddy got a new one with no issues from the states, brought it up here and unlocked it for use on the Rogers network. No issues, no extra fees.
I don't agree with this practice because I believe that the whole point of getting a degree is to gain the knowledge by doing the work.
That being said, this definatly qualifies under the "work smarter, not harder" philosophy.
Only catch is those dishes are much more powerful then the standard TV dish. I know a guy who's licensed to install them and accidentally put his head in front of the dish. Gave him a headache for days. That's why you mount them where there's no danger of people cutting across the signal.
"Windows Genuine Advantage" has been hacked. Having to have a CD in the drive has been hacked. If your going on a 6 month trip to Antarctica and you want to bring your laptop with spore on it, I'm sure you'll take the time to run a hack that will break the call home function.

Need to factor in the cost of a second plane and equipment as well. To have 24/7 surveillance, as one plane lands the other must be taking off.
Good point. I wonder if this will lead to camera phone rage... :)

They feared the study that shows that 90% of all traffic that's not torrents relating to copyrighted material points to the red light district.
