My understanding of the digital signal vs. analog is that the analog reception drops off gradually the further from the source you are. Digital, on the other hand, has a steady signal for it's coverage area then drops to 0. If this is the case, how is a bigger antenna going to help? Do the people running the program even know how this stuff works?

I was gung ho to set up IPv6 at home. I run linux on all the systems and figured it would be a piece of cake. However when I got to the router they provided, it does not support IPv6, even with firmware upgrades.
I am trying to check if they have newer versions. Since they supply custom firmware for the box, I can't just go buy one at the store.
Ok, seriously. Does this run on linux? I have switched over to linux 100%, so when I play team fortress or other games like it, (ohh I bet portal could be played with this) I am running in linux under wine.
Has anyone read or had experience with this running under linux, or at least does it run under wine successfully?
Works great for charities. They get a nice cheap list of people that they CAN call. That's why I keep getting called for this charity BS for knocked up teenage sluts!
I get spam phone calls to my cell in spanish. Also get spam texts. A few years back people around here used to get spam text from some kind of social networking site saying "Jane Doe (or whoever) wants to be your friend."
Also, computer servers don't have the ability to handle lots of traffic at once! Kids listen to music too loud! Movies don't make sense anymore! You have to sign up for a contract!
So you can use your phone to go to the att website and send a text message for free, but sending it from the phone costs money. Gotta love corporations.
yeah I'm sure i'll smell spring fresh riding my bicycle 24 miles into work in 98F degree heat! I would rather keep my job than ride a bicycle and lose it.
The more I think about the current situation we are in with power, I am coming to realize that we are here because the power companies/governments want us to be dependent. If we all had solar/wind power our house and fueling the electrolysis fuel cell to create hydrogen for our car, we wouldn't need them. We wouldn't be "contributing to the economy." So rather let's destroy the economy to maintain the status quo./soapbox
It's all in how you spin in it. If 80% of the people have watched one viacom broadcast, Then they will say 80% of the youtube poeple only come to watch copyrighted matieral. On the other hand if 20% of people watched mostly copyrighted material, they will say that users are only going to youtube to watch copyrighted material. Either way the data go they will spin it their way. Didn't we just have a post about this last week? (data interpretation I mean)

My entire family, including my 3 year old, use linux. Webkinz runs just fine. I even have the 6 year old learning to code c++ in the KDevelop IDE.
