Yes you can, I'm living proof. I have worked for some of the largest companies, and some of the biggest IT projects. That being said, it wasn't easy. Many places will not even look at you without a degree. Often you can't even get your resume past HR and onto hiring managers. If I had it to do over again, well I never really had a choice, so I guess I would do it the same, but given the choice, I would get the degree.

Wow, way to pull numbers out of your ass! $15 = $3600? If you play for 20 years!!! The servers wont be up that long. The time value of money means you either 1) will have to pay a higher rate in the future or 2) will be paying effectively less over time (as the value of the $15 decreases.)

I'm sory if you live in Iraq or wherever and $15 dollars is a fortune to you. But honestly $15 is no big deal to most people. My 4 year old gets more than that as her allowance.

This is common on blackberry too. So common in fact, that it happens with your in game blackberry in Grand Theft Auto 4. If your phone rings in your car, you will hear the radio distort just before the phone starts to ring.

So, realistic in fact, it took a few instances of this happening before I noticed it as an effect in the game. Since I was so used to it with my real life blackberry.

There are locked boxes now. Loosing out on a bit of loot will not stop a farming bot, just ignore the "magic box" and move on.

Maybe the part you are not realizing is that I have played wow for years. I have used wow glider, and am familiar with it's capabilities.

Given these 2 facts I am able to express 1) What works within the context of the game. 2) What would affect the automation tool.

My initial objection to your statement was that the bot can be defeated

    easy enough

, surely if it is so easy

And I'm pretty sure that Blizzard has better imagination than what you've just demonstrated.

They would be able to implement such an easy solution.

Reality, even the virtual kind, is a more complicated than your platitudes and tautology. Things aren't as simple as you say, while maintaining a realistic and consistent world for real players.
