  1. Re:Something is fishy in Denmark on Tesla Employee Calls For Unionization, Musk Says That's 'Morally Outrageous' (arstechnica.com) · · Score: 1

If the employees are happy and feel they are paid fairly then any attempts to unionize will fail, the workers will just not have any desire to do so. Only when they feel that working conditions are bad or they are being treated unfairly or underpaid is when a place is ripe for unionization.

I have been hearing that tesla employees complain about working conditions and expectations, that can be a catalyst for one of these plants to get a union in place.
But if management has any brains at all it's easy to squash. you simply roll out better working conditions and things are are pretty much free to employees. Give them free sodas and snacks in the break room, give them longer breaks, increase their pay and have more open communication. Suddenly employee happiness shoots up and attempts to unionize drop to the floor. Paying $10 a day per employee in "free perks" is absolutely nothing at all compared to the costs of running a business.

There was a asterisk guru that published all the goodies on how to do this over a decade ago and I used his code and modified it a bit. worked great and the longest I tired up a telemarketer was 2 hours.

about 4 years ago someone had a better one called "this is lenny" that emulated an old senile man and was recording the calls for everyones entertainment.

Sorry, but the customers I have are angry at DRM. They own 30 room Yachts that when they update the Firmware on their Kaleidescape it upgrades to HDCP 1.4 and BREAKS the whole system because their TV sets that are sealed and built in are NOT HDCP 1.4 compatible.

I encourage these customers to complain to congress to strike down the DMCA because I tell them , "I could fix that, but the DMCA makes it a felony for me to do so."

And it's affecting their homes, they add in the new 4K Dish TV to their 64 room home and BOOM the digital video system shuts down because of HDCP 2.2 and they did not replace all 64 TV sets in the house.

DRM hits everyone, and a lot of the rich that I do work for I encourage to complain to companies as well as congress about it.
