Change government fiscal incentives (direct and indirect) for having children to government fiscal incentives (direct and indirect) for NOT having children.
Seems like people start looking for something, then Viola, they find it. That seems pretty normal. and what your missing, is that there are smaller discoveries that a found that lead to askign the question that lead to the big discoveries
I believe the original poster was talking about Chemical agents that are used for civilian purposes, but could double as Chemical Weapons in a pinch. pesticides, herbicides, etc.
You build player cities, and then you had to defend those cities against other players. IF you lost, the city was burned to the ground. And even if you won, the city still took damage that took time and (in game) money to repair. So having someoen attack your city was a lose lose situation, but so much to fun.
IF roleplaying is strictly enforced, it could be a lot of fun to watch/play
Shadowbane was a ton of fun. The banes between KGB and LK and EB on Vengence were fun to play in, and would probably be enjoyable to rewatch if there was more of a storyline involved.
BUt I'd think the lore of the world, and how strictly enforced roleplaying is are going ot be the main factors on if it is good at all.
One could hope that because it is being aired on Sci-Fi that instead of airing the reg. quest / game play stuff, that they will introduce weekly (or more) new content. Meaning that there will be special events happening on a common basis, so you don't have to do the mindless grinding of XP all of the time.
I play a lot in small groups (2-3), and I love being in a guild with larger groups.
My problem with "Being forced into groups" is the inability to solo, or do small group quests.
To start, just because you solo, does not mean you are anti-social. Sometimes you don't have the time to get a group together. IT always take 10-30 min (sometime smuch much longer) to get people together, and sometimes that is all you have to play. So if you jsut wanted to log in, do a quick quest or work on a little xp and log off before the wife get's home, you cant if you ahve to group.
Forced grouping killed DDO for me. I played nightly with a friend, but because so much of the material you had to have a full group (Rogue, Healer, Tank, DPS), we often found ourselves sitting around for an hour unable to find the missing player we needed for a group. So we quit playing because there were was not the player base to support a full group.
IMO, a good MMO would have gameplay for people who want to solo, do small groups, reg. groups and raids. Forcing people into groups means that there will be a lot of standing around shouting "X Class, X Level, LFG" and a lot of boredom for many people.
What is flawed about going, "Hey I have wealth. I want to be able to consume food that taste good, and not have to put any effort into working off the excess energy that my body is storing form that food."
Sure, a bicycle could get us from point A to B. A Geo Metro could too. But we have SUV's and Sports car's because we want them, not because we need them.
Even after taking classes, not everyone walks away with the same understanding. Years of MMO's have taught me that people have a fundamental inability to understand economic concepts.

It was all a scheme so that they could get warehouse workers for teachers wages instead of having to pay them real wages.
Now that's a game that would sell...
But they's need to get better graphics
Wonder if the game will come with a Wii Whip?
That is pretty funny
For D&D 3.5 there are feats and classes that are focused around group tactics. Example: getting shield bonuses for having multiple men in formations.
But, like you brought up, those are rarely played because those feats and classes only work well if the group actually fights with group tactics
Kind of follows:
"I want to drive my car"
Car keys are found

To give a slightly more serious answer,
I believe the original poster was talking about Chemical agents that are used for civilian purposes, but could double as Chemical Weapons in a pinch. pesticides, herbicides, etc.
Rifles/guns are used for hunting.
Explosives are used in construction.
Knifes are used for a multitude of purposes.
Many medieval weapons are used for decoration.
Swords are used for entertainment & exorcize.
That's all I can come up with off the top of my head
For a moment I thought I was on Fark
Only after August 8, 1997

This should be brought up more.
IF it is reading facial movements, instead of brain waves, then it is no more a "brain mouse" then your standard mouse is.

A fundamental part of living, is enjoying life.
Got a chip on your shoulder? Sounds as if fat kids used to (still?) beat you up.
I know this is off-topic, but I had to ask...
"The California Supreme Court that legalized gay marriage, by the same logic has now legalized Polygamy as well."
Please explain this to me.
This information is useful to the IRS.
They are going to compare this info to the tax return filled out.
Or, if you don't file a tax return, they are going ot tax it all as profit.
Scary? Yes, but scary can be fun too.
I find it interesting that you say it is not a data transmission speed, yet in the definition you provide:
2. pertaining to or denoting a type of high-speed data transmission in which the bandwidth is shared by more than one simultaneous signal.
It mentions that data transmission speed is part of what broadband is.
The only thing I can think of is that they know if you do anything stupid...it is a major federal offense..and that that would be a deterrent?
I think that little bit of knowledge goes pretty far.
Even after taking classes, not everyone walks away with the same understanding. Years of MMO's have taught me that people have a fundamental inability to understand economic concepts.
Fulseman?
/serious, I do
I do enjoy reading ridiculous logic like this.
