    This sounds more like apple plans to release their own player app maybe so they remove one that compote's with theirs. Its their standard practice, they will claim security of their devices is key but its so they can keep 100% of profit of the app.

    would say it would use about the same, But the biggest issue could be is the wear on the starter motor and engine of start and stopping it like that would lead to repair bills and/or lose of fuel economy.

    When it comes to other big companies like megaupload that have money to fight. They turn to dirty crap like this. they go after torrent indexer's, why haven't they hit Google? You can search out torrents on Google just like any other torrent search site.

    i do feel a hair sorry for him, but he was dumb enough to fall for this. Kinda surprised they extended that credit for that amount of cash if he doesn't least have that much in his account. Being such a large amount they should seen this could be some type of scam and put a hold on the checks til they clear. If they are from another country that should tipped the bank off something might be fishy since it can take a while for the check to clear fully. As i typed this it has made me thing that yea he should bare some of the burdon but bank should have to take some the blow since it didn't set off a red flag when someone deposit 800grand in checks.

    roku has the online streaming content but their local media playing is limited to mp4 files jpg and png. WD tv has great local media but its online is a little lacking. i havn't owned a roku but i did own wd tv.and top roku box and wd around about same price as apple's device. Boxee box comes out, will be a little bit more at 200$ but looks to be wd tv and roku rolled in to 1.

    I am sure they still do, i remeber hearing about a law they were workin' on passing there. For a company to make software for use in china, if they are not based in china to start, they have to partner with a Chinese company. The law would require for example MS to provide full windows source code to the chinese company, i mean entire windows source. so they could make windows if MS ever left the country or gov kicked them out.

    During the big press conference apple had to rls this thing he quoted saying it played HD. What he didn't say it would do 1080i/p, which it can't since it uses Ipad's cpu inside it only supports at best 720p. Call me crazy for 100$ there are 2 other competitors out there with a streaming media box that supports about 10x more stuff then this worth hunk of crap. http://www.apple.com/appletv/specs.html -- proof lack of 1080 support

    really? i could send in 3 DMCA notices on same persons ip and get them kicked off for 6 month's. cause most companies take them at face value and don't even check to make sure the notice is even legit.

    even if they didn't get one the chips, they would eventually figure out the flaw by checking their code or buying one those chips. so they would get one of the chips one way or another

    sounds like some is just pissed cause he got busted and they banned his account. Kinda wonder if he was guilty multi-offenses. i will admit i've done it on guildwars once, they just took all my gold and few other things and warned me about it, the thing i bought was still there they missed that one. it sounds like he is just mad cause he put so many hours in to it to lose it all. story does say its "alleged", i don't think they would ban an account less they had proof that it happened.

    in default judgments it don't matter if you have the evidence to prove a thing. the other side was served papers to be in court on day x, they don't show up its then other side wins default judgment.
