Do you have any idea of how difficult this was to read? My brain faded out mid-way through the first paragraph. I think there was something about language changing, and how it is acceptable to let that language change, because... huh?

The language, and all rules regarding it, ought to be conserved for this very reason. If you had written it in a clear and concise manner, a number of readers would have understood your point, even if your point is flawed. I know that I often have to go back and re-read sentences, when they are devoid of proper grammar or punctuation. Please, stop wasting my time, and learn to write.

I played Wolf3D - SOD so much that I had memorized all of the anti-pirate question answers. It ran perfectly on a 386-16mhz, too. Tie Fighter took up a lot of my time... I didn't have a joystick or even a soundcard on my 486/33, but eventually got one. I was so happy ever after.

Freespace was just plain amazing. It was the top end of graphics, I think, until hardware T&L showed up.

Morrowind still is awesome, but I'm far too addicted to WoW to actually play anything else (except FFX... mmm)

Same answer for both, they were Pagan traditions originally and used by the Catholic church. I've never really understood why in this day and time it even matters.

I think that a number of Pagan ideals were incorporated into the faith, so that the transition from Paganism to Christianity would be easier. The Catholic Church, at the time, was in the business of mass evangelism, and made allowances to make things easier. Take the promotion of Mary to a prominent role, for instance, it reflects the typical Pagan mother/son god figure. Another is the choice of when Christmas falls, as well as Easter. A lot of these were Pagan holidays that were converted.

There are many denominations in the Church, as a result of these adopted days and rituals, corruption of the Church, and the Church's departure from the teaching of unconditional forgiveness by the death and resurrection of Christ.

The problem almost all FFXI->WoW converts complain about is that it takes too much effort to get items in FFXI with little gain. Almost all the items in the game worth getting are the results of huge collaborations of team effort (and organizational nightmares). This is the part that seems to separate the average WoW gamer and a true FFXI junkie. The WoW convert detests investing insane amounts of time/effort into the game without quick rewards/satisfaction, while the FFXI junkie will not have it any other way.

Eh? Sure, you can get "ok" items in WoW with a minimal amount of organization, but the best items in the game require one of two things: Massive organization of many people in a very difficult dungeon, or Massive amounts of PvP farming. A 40 man raid is an orgnizational nightmare.

I am unaware of the number of people that they can organize to take the dragon down, but I imagine that it would require more people than they have on at any point in time.

You are going to pay out of your own pocket for your own kid, if expense is involved. You are not leaving your kid in foster homes/gov't daycare, where you have no clue of the environment your child is in. You are not leaving the financial burden on some guy who will never meet your kid, who lives 2000 miles away.
