The RIAA probably have every accountant withing a 400mile radius with questionable ethics pouring over the books trying to hide every 0.00c they can...
If it's constantly needing a burn to keep in the correct orbit why don't they either:
1) Move it further out, above the current orbital debris region (you might keep it for an emergency "safe haven" or supply station for manned missions to the Moon or Mars)
2) Fit it with those experimental "Ion" engines they have been testing (They only have a few grams of push) but have 10 of them around the ISS constantly pushing will keep it in a stable orbit and the ION propellant is more compact and easier to store then the current propellant.
Use the lunar HE-3 strip mines as Waste storage...
With all the junk and non-degradable stuff we throw out, why recycle. Just stuff it all on the moon. That should compensate for any lost mass due to mining....
If you can cut it out (vibration damage to the area.)
If you cant freeze it out.
how about a strong suction device and a bottle of some strong acid. Pop the acid and try and suck the knob till it comes.. out...lol ^_^
Or in reality.. just use the acid to burn some of the knob away and take it out. Make sure you've got some alkali handy to stop the reaction before it does an "Alien" on you and melt the whole way through the deck...
I was taking into account Non-UK readers (who would probably moan that to them "football" is a game of wimpy men in padding trying to grab each others oddly shaped ball...)
...Setting up a standard naming convention and make sure bosses and managers enforce it. It won't help older files but will stop it getting worse!
Then if you can be bothered, you can start going through older files and updating the naming conventions or entering them into the Document management system of you choice...
"Right now we have got a whole host of corporate loopholes and tax havens. There is a building in the Cayman Islands that houses supposedly 12,000 US-based corporations. Thats either the biggest building in the world or the biggest tax scam in the world, and we know which one it is."
So
Cut the loopholes and you won't need to increase Tax, you might be able to reduce the tax burden on companies...
...Think about it (well people in the UK anyway).
We could all club together and take CBS, Last.FM and hopefully the RIAA to court over breaking of the: Data Protection Act of 1998.
Take them through Criminal Courts rather than Civil courts...
Because my full time job is fixing WINDOWS machines, which seem to BSoD, throw up random errors or just fail to start, for any number of reasons usually because the latest "update" causes something to fail, or they plugged in a new device and the drivers get screwed up, or are non-existent or windows plainly refuses to acknowledge the existence of the device.
I reinstall Ubuntu Linux once every 6 months on average (for each new version + patches) with windows it's once every 4 months (SAME version + SP's and patches).
With Ubuntu I get a clean up to date OS every 6 months that i just restore my home partition and go.
With Windows I'm reinstalling & restoring just to get to the point I was at 4 months previously!
and a dark spot is noticed on Jupiter...
Now where did i put that monolith...
Saturn and Jupiter are the sweepers of the Solar system. They are big, so things hit them instead of us. Think of them as bodyguards... ^_^
...could it have been "Dieobld" by any chance?
So they can use our resources...
And sell those resources to a 3rd party...
No way! What's next:
"TPB" being renamed "Titanic"?? 'cause it's looking likes it's hit an iceberg and is sinking fast!!
Now If it was something like:
We pay â2 a month
They use our resources
They sell our resources
We get a % of those sales to cover our costs...
Then I *might* consider using the new Pirate Bay.

The UK and the USA backed and funded a CIA engineered coup dâ(TM)état which overthrew the elected government in the late 50's and stuck in a friendly "shah", who then turned around and made Iran the dictatorship we know and love today.(all because Iran, at the time, wanted to nationalise its Oil industry for the good of it's people and the US and UK didn't like that (since their huge oil companies would not be able to get at the Oil!)...

Pub Brawl
Use you Wii-remote as either a beer glass or chair and attack as many fellow pub drinkers, as possible...
Or
Soccer riots:
The worlds first multiplayer FPR (First person rioting) game....
Saying that, I'd probably run out of toilet paper...
All those RIAA letters are useful for something!! lol
1) I'd signup for a month or 2
2) Download everything and anything music related they offer.
3) ???
4) Cancel Subscription
Well they could then use the temp as a scape goat when planes start falling out of the skies...
Then if you can be bothered, you can start going through older files and updating the naming conventions or entering them into the Document management system of you choice...
And if you ever surfed to that naughty website during working hours, IT know about it.
Being feared is so much better then being respected ;)
Of it they haven't the BoFH can invent it and stick it in the browsing history with ease...
Or stick a few naughty email to the Bosses wife or 18 y.o daughter from the offending users email with a BCC to the boss...
and yes I am a BoFH....
So
Cut the loopholes and you won't need to increase Tax, you might be able to reduce the tax burden on companies...
One that can only be used on Mondays, One for Tuesdays only.. etc... etc...
HDMI 1.4 spec = fail...
They just suffered a permanent existence failure... http://www.towelday.org/
Well.. It was on out land when we found it...
Take them through Criminal Courts rather than Civil courts...
from light blue all the way to dark blue....

If I was Trolling I'd go Anon :P
Oh! you're Anon!.. therefore troll away :P
When this was announced a million "Script Kiddies" and "Virus writers" around the world simultaneously creamed themselves with glee....
Linux's ship has sailed.
