    You may have noticed the stickers indicating the different octane ratings of the fuels? Whether the higher octane fuel is more costly to produce or better for your car is a different matter, there is a difference between the fuels.

    There's no reason to. College students are capable of paying for it themselves and as you note, there is a "severe notion" of people paying their own way, which I think is a good notion to have. College education is a privilege. Who's going to pay for "free" college education?

    You're the type of fool who would be saying the same thing about educating children in schools if you lived a hundred a years ago, just because you believe another tier of education is a privilege that requires payment of hundreds of thousands of dollars does not make it so, some of us like the idea of living in a world with a perpetually rising standard of education among the population, of course it doesn't fit everyone's selfish agenda.

    The "Tyranny of the mob" is a fallacy designed to get you to believe that the best option is to have an overpaid idiot representing you on your behalf because you're too greedy and stupid to do it sensibly yourself. It draws strongly upon that most innate instinct, the fear of others.

    Of course you may be American in which case much of the mob actually is tyrannical.

    What a lot of fucking bullshit, it's the job of the lender to ensure that the customer can repay, that's called responsible banking. Remember it?

    Beyond that if bankers were being rewarded for doing a good job that may well be acceptable, with reasonable bounds, in fact they are making a fortune while making a complete arse of their jobs.

    No, because living in America on the wages paid in Mexico or the far East is not possible. Corporate greed doesn't care if it kills local neighbourhoods. Any point you try to make about so called "union fat cats" is going to look pretty farcical when stacked against the actions of the upper echelons of business.

I would say you're quite welcome to leave society, unfortunately given that it's presence is inescapable you wouldn't be able to. Of course you could be blasted into space alone, but that would mean society paying to do that for you, and of course a rugged Randian individualist like yourself would doubtless find that unconscionable.
