Good point, except those that "studied the tech for years" did not include Ian Malcolm. Oops, I mean Goldblum.
Oh, and the film insinuated that the aliens were a species based upon invasion, so maybe they would have learned to protect their systems by now.
The FBI needs to have easy access to everything - to keep up safe. All sites need to provide the FBI with all user data.
Why stop there? Open up your homes, people! Place your possessions on your front lawn, just in case the FBI needs to come by and make sure you aren't a 'bad guy'.
Baby Smash!
It doesn't perform too well and it isn't exactly the most scintillating app in the word, but it prevents* your kiddo from deleting all your files with a random mash of the keys.
* Sometimes, despite the claims of the author, smashing the keyboard will minimize the app, leaving your computer vulnerable to infant shenanigans. Does not happen very often, though.
I thought you were going to describe Library Sort as it always seemed to me: Throw all of the books on the floor and then jam them on the shelf with no gaps and plenty of books from incorrect sections randomly scattered throughout. Oh, and sprinkle horizontal books liberally on top.
It also does not require a strict answer. If the constraints for the answer are manufactured (as they are here) then the constraints for the question must be as well. This evaluation is poorly constructed and should not be defended.
Reduced congestion equals reduced emissions (cars idling in traffic). I think you are being a bit pedantic.
Who cares what the initial intentions behind it were?
Why is it every time there's an phone article, you N900 guys come out and tout your unloved phones? We're happy with our phones and obviously don't care about yours, so please stop telling us about it.
Um, ditto?
Why is it that every time there's a phone article, it is about the iPhone? Or sometimes Android.
I have no firsthand knowledge of anything PS3, but according to the court document the inability to upgrade to 3.21 will affect quite a bit more than access to the PS3 Store.
Your attitude is dismissive of something that affects others but not yourself. I am sorry to say that you are not the only person that purchased a PS3.
if the persons are so dependent on both solutions why can't they buy a secondary PS3?

Asshat
Problems of success are a bear.

You made a typo:
Sincerely,
Everyone
Compared to other costs, licensing fees are fairly trivial. $100k doesn't even buy a competent engineer for a year.
Whew, good thing I make $101k!
What if the alien moved in for a few billion years? But actually I agree that the distinction here is pretty pedantic of the original commenter.
And here I am without any mod points...

And maybe that's the key. Too much freedom ruins you.
Plot summary: "smurfs with penises on their heads use gay beastiality to mind-control animals into helping them defeat the evil white man"
Terrible summary. They were cat-smurfs.
I thought you were going to describe Library Sort as it always seemed to me: Throw all of the books on the floor and then jam them on the shelf with no gaps and plenty of books from incorrect sections randomly scattered throughout. Oh, and sprinkle horizontal books liberally on top.
The fundamental problem is that most people are credulous morons.
I BELIEVE YOU!
It's not like everyone runs to the local science lab every time they find gray slime in a food product.
Is this why I am banned from my local science lab? To be fair, most of the time my slime was green.
The world doesn't format problems neatly for you.

I always just rearranged the stickers.

I think the bad summary is supposed to mean Boeing's first. It was worth saving the 3 extra letters, though!
I'll alert the media.
mod parent up. photoshopped!
JRB probably took snippets of real conversations from his efforts and patched them together to create this "dialogue".
Silly me. And here I was thinking that my (dumb) phone was serving me just fine!
Because I do not give a damn; I just felt that the comment was short sighted in its complaint.

(I don't own any of the above mentioned phones)

I didn't know Sony had a slashdot account!
