Debian with IceWM was perfectly usable on a p200 with 64 megs of RAM back in the late 90's, it should do very well on an arm533 with 128 megs of RAM.

Most of my relatives have no idea what bittorrent is, and they are totally ordinary Fox News and American Idol types. Most of them use LimeWire.

Fortunately they live in states other than this one, which cuts down on the amount of ZOMG I HAVE A VIRUS!!!1 tech support calls.

  4. Re:And nothing of value was lost on LimeWire Likely To Shut Down Soon · · Score: 2, Informative

Bittorrent is excellent for downloading individual files.

Most torrent clients allow you to download individual files from a collection via some sort of Properties dialog.

You get the .torrent for the entire album or collection. Then when you load it in your client you go to the Properties/Files dialog and uncheck every song or file except those that you wish to download.

It is good for things like John Mayer albums, where most of the songs on the new album are repeats of songs from the previous album.

Also the clicking of hard drives let me know if somebody was accessing my FTP site. My ftpd didn't allow for ratios so I went through the logs by hand to make sure people uploaded first.

I keep a large ring of keys for the house/truck/garage as well as a larger keyring for the shop, trailers, chains, and various pieces of power equipment.

The best way I have found to keep them all on hand is with a chain wallet. I use a good leather chain wallet, but replace the small stock chain with a 2 foot length of chain cut from the end of a large dog leash. The hook on the end is robust and large enough to accommodate several key rings.

The short chain length gives enough length to unlock doors without unhooking the keyring, and allows it all to be dropped in a front pants pocket to keep it low-key so as to avoid looking like some sort of trailer-trash skateboarder wannabe with 4 feet of chain hanging out of the pants.
