As of last July, you could still upgrade your phone (paying full price) and keep your data plan. I even bought my LG G3 at a VZW store because no one else had it yet. ( I did have to listen to them try and talk me into switching. I finally told the guy "I'm rich I can afford to pay full price :P )

If your current phone uses a micro sim you can just buy your phone online and swap the sim. That's what I plan to do for the next upgrade.

    (unlimited for life :P )

Most companies won't go anywhere fucking near Windows 10 unless they can test in-house with their software before pushing it out to the users machines.

Personally, I'm hoping that shit is the first thing hacked so you can block updates.

What will probably happen is they'll fat finger a update, trash a tens of thousands, or more people's computers. The publicity shit storm will force them to allow blocking of updates.

I personally always wait a couple days before updating.

i don't if they make GMO's, I want a fucking label. Its none of your fucking business why. If I want to pay a farmer more for his product, because his crops have higher loss rate. That MY rights. INFORMED decision is the corner stone of capitalism. That is what has been bought and payed for buy Monasto.

The limitations imposed by "traditional" methods impose hard limits on what can be done.

I personally, don't mind creating and selling GMO's...

I very much mind not being allowed to know WHAT my food IS. This corporate shill of a law is prime example of the subversion of how capitalism is supposed to work. For capitalism to work properly the consumer need to be able to make a INFORMED decision. That is being denied to me.

Well, I'll take a stab at it.

TWC and Comcast were two companies that offered the same product in completely different markets. In terms of their affect on the market, they would have had more power over, say, publishers (ie the TV networks), but no more power over, say, home Internet/Cable/Telephone prices than they did before, as the amount of competition in each area would have been unchanged.

While your attempt was noble, this is completely wrong. Both are already monopolies in 90%+ of their market areas. But at least now people can complain that the "other one" is only charging xyz for service in the next town over. IF the merger had gone through the "new" company would just raise prices and lower service EVERYWHERE...
