    they found methane which is quite common in our solar system, its not that they found methane being present thats is the breakthrough here, its the fact that they have fine enough instruments to measure a planet ~60 light years away, this absolutely amazing! fairplay!!

    the planet in question is bigger than Jupiter and closer to its sun than mercury, so its way too hot for any life "as we know it" to survive

    This is exactly why i don't install any 3rd party php scripts (only custom made) and run lighttpd/nginx (beside being faster than apache with php-fcgi)

    Apache is very slow when it comes to php

    i run several sites and 2 are bigger than slashdot ;)

    and we use lighttpd and nginx with php running as fast-cgi

    the switch literally means we need to rent less servers now! and the sites are alot snappier

    so whats the issue? there more than enough bandwidth thanks to the dot com boom and relatively cheap costs of adding more capacity
