    and ensures that the seller makes the best price.

    My complaint is when a bidding war comes in between two people
    and the price shoots to the moon.

    the new person then gives in after ratcheting up the price.
    I feel it should drop back to the price it was just before that person entered.

    the actual value of the object is not what I would pay for it
    but what others would pay for it.
    thus, I am over paying when I win an auction.

    Why bother porting to Linux?
    Solaris *IS* better than Linux.
    with Sun's Kernel and everything else that Solaris10 brings to the table, why would you use any of the Linux Variants?
    the ONLY argument that Linux wins is use of crufty hardware.
    Well, if you want a datacenter filled with old PS2 hardware have fun with your Red Hats.
    As for me, running AMD64 using Solaris AND Sun Hardware is the way to go.

    This is analagous to SSL.
    I have to pay a "verisign tax" to get a CERT that will validate with the pre-installed roots distributed with IE and FIREFOX etc.

    I cannot simply self sign.

    In the case of this email,
    I will not be able to get the blue ribbon without paying an "aol tax" to get their solution du jour.

    To play with big honkin fast machines and new technology that makes your head spin.
    Just musing about the name. Think of your kitchen sink faucet.
    Now think of all the faucets in your house turned on at once.
    Now think of all the faucets on your street turned on too.
    Add all the faucets in your community.
    Keep on thinking of how many faucets in how many communities it would take to equal the raw power behind something so large as Niagra falls.

    Am I hooked?

    From what I have seen, the higher price the consultant is paid the more likely they are to be listened to and/or followed.

    Note: this has nothing to do with whether they are correct in their recommendations. Just whether the employer will follow their recommendations.

    I find if funny that google-friends was hosted as a Yahoo! Group first...

    There isnt any irony there because It wasnt.

    Yahoo bought E-GROUPS a few years ago, long after the google-friends group was created.

    Sendmail has a commercial product with a bunch of features for people who like that sort of thing.

    Course their pricing is off the wall.
    I couldnt believe the FUD their sales skunks were telling the windows fools in my previous job.

    I convinced the company to save the $Kash and we went with the standby from sendmail.org.

    People forget that the colonists were not rebelling against Britain. They were fighting against their own government. That is why the founders were so against big government. They felt it should be kept at a very safe distance and strongly kept in check.

    I unscrewed the lense end - the same way you fine tune the focus.

    it then proceeded to fall over due to the usb cable coming free in back.

    I now have a little stack of lenses that I need to figure out the proper way to orient.

    2 lenses - 2 ways = 8 combinations.
    a third lense further out = x2 more combinations.
    a fourth lense on the outsite = x2 more combinations.

    Total 32 possible ways to re-assemble this little bugger!! DAMN-YOU!!!!

    Worst of it is, the pink lense is a lense and not a flat glass filter. I cant use this cam :(

    I have tried running inside of a frame set to reload a given web page in my test browser windows.
    how are you accomplishing it?
