Very true. It would have to be up to the caretaker to know whether a specific recording would be pertinent to the moment and share (or not share) depending upon it's appropriateness. You would have to make quite a few variants:-)
Take a moment to watch a movie called the "Ultimate Gift" Not exactly the same situation, but a good (fictional) example of someone with ingenuity and a good friend.
You might consider video taping your reaction/commentary as if you were there for possible moments in moments to major events that happen to most of us. Wedding, New Job, Graduation from High School, Graduation from College, Birth of a child, etc. Then you would have someone queued up to provide these videos at a proper moment in time. That would certainly keep you connect in your daughter's life. Maybe even a video from you to your grandkids talking about how you were as a child. Your likes, dislikes and even funny habits you might have had. I am so very glad you have shared this time of your life with us. Thank you very much.
As a parent of an adult gaming poster-child I do understand. It's always a case of hind sight. I learned to regret letting my kids have too much access to video games. My middle child continues to pay the price. Zero ambition while 100% self serving. My wife and I have had a rough 12 years with him. He is now 30 and lives in one of our rental properties. He didn't want independence with responsibilities.like paying for his support. For years, he has thought that his money is for his entertainment only and resents paying for things like rent/food/utilities. He is somewhat responsible in that he keeps his jobs for about a 12 month avg, before moving on to something else. Lately his mom manages his finances, so he is paying some of his essentials. Slow progress, but it's is progress non-the-less.
Our solution to finally get him off the couch at age 24 was remove and forbid any video games in our home. I blocked internet asses after 9pm and eventually blocked all internet access for his pc at our firewall. He fussed, cussed and finally blew up after about 4 months. Telling us that his lack of ambition and misuse of us was our fault. My wife and I realized he was right. We had to take a much harder stance with him. He got a job which he has more or less kept and now lives with his girl friend.
Needless to say, it has been a long a painful process. He still doesn't have any long term ambition or desire to do anything beyond work hours except entertainment activities. Simple things like cleaning and maintaining his living space are still beyond him, but,....hope springs eternal eh?

I haven't seen any mention here yet about how a business might react to it's employee's unionizing...In today's world, many employers will just outsource or go all temp to avoid the whole issue. I have even seen cases where a business will close up shop and expand somewhere else. I also believe that overall business tends to give us more and better pay/benifits. Unions are all about the Union structures nowadays. Unions often leave you hungry and jobless at the end of negotiations. The "benefits" that unions promise really don't amount to much from what I have seen. I usually ends up as a losing situation for both the business and the employees. Working in a union environment can really suck. I vote no.

I have been using this for a while and have had nothing but good results. Very nice for some of my clients who do not have broadband. This is an app designed by some german engineers for creating standalone update discs for the last few flavors of windows and ms office, too.

quite a cottage industry has sprung up the last couple of years. You can get ink/toner for a 1/4 of the cost of new when you refill.

Wouldn't it make more sense to use some sort of stationary balloon based platforms? Seems logical to start off that way at least.
