    I think the really big slashdot knockout, where it went down for a couple of days (and there was all this drama), generated some great discussion. Especially when a short while afterwards, Hotmail (or MSN?) went down for almost a week and when it came back, Microsoft didn't say a word about it.

    Firefox regularly uses over 700M RAM. The machine I'm on only has 256MB RAM. My solution is to keep task manager open and just forcibly kill firefox every hour or so. Maybe you could fix that for version 2?

    Here's the problem: I have to pay the listing fee, right? Then I have to pay a percentage of the final sale, right? Then I have to pay a percentage of the money that was transfered to me by paypal, right? Then I have to dig through the nearest dumpster to find a box of suitable size and strength to house the item. Then I have to carry it to the post office. No matter how high I jack up the shipping fee, every damn time the absolute cheapest shipping fee is always a few dollars over what I charged the bidder. Always. By this time, I'm lucky to have recovered half of the money that I wasted when I acquired the item.

    It gets worse though: there's no other place to sell your stuff. You're lucky to get 1/10th @ amazon what you get @ eBay.

    ant is a really simple cmd-line process, I can't see how it leaking memory would be a big deal.

    However, if you sincerely think that Eclipse doesn't leak memory like a sieve, then I claim that you don't do your day-to-day in it.

    We know that he's new to blogging because the RSS/RDF/XML/Atom/whatever files are missing...
