    I would love a party that was fiscally responsible, beleived in personal freedom, social justice, enviornmental responsibility, supported small buisiness, supported real family values (i.e. NOT including "hatred" and "intolerance" and "close-mindedness"), was anti-corruption in government and business and supported government that did what was absolutely neccesary for a strong society, but no more than that.
    Lemme know when you find such a party, I'll be right there w/ you.

    IF the motherfuckers at the FBI can be believed, then the warrantless surveillance didn't uncover a single goddamned clue about where terrorists could be hiding in the US. They've gone way over the fucking line, and now we're supposed to acquiese to their "requests" for our search data? I'm sick and tired of this "terrorism" bullshit, but they can't even be bothered to connect this to terrorism! FUCK BUSH AND FUCK HIS ADMINISTRATION.

    No real change in Iraq. Neither side can force a decision, so both sides keep bleeding.

    If the Bush Administration doesn't begin withdrawing troops now, they won't be able to get most of them home in time for the upcoming elecions. Remember: it's never been about winning the war on terror, it's always been about *looking* like we're winning.

    Total number of active blogs decreases.

    Man, I need to post to this story again, because it pisses me off so much. If I don't shave, then eventually the fuzz on my face won't come out w/out massive damage to your razor. If I don't shower, then I smell terrible. If I don't clean the sink/kitchen or take out the garbage, then I wind up w/ roaches. If I don't vacuum or dust, then dust and dirt and dander will just pile up and I'll have an asthma attack. Man, fuck Paul Graham, because this essay was like one long explanation about why I'll never amount to anything. What the hell?

    The article links to Hamming's "You and Your Research". The submitter clearly fails for not including it in the writeup, since it's much more interesting.

    Hamming's article mentions that the people w/ the open doors get more done then the people w/ the closed doors, yet isn't Graham's point that interruptions prevent serious work? Doesn't that disprove Graham's claim?
