    I went out for drinks tonight, and when I returned kazaa was still operational [as a service(duh)].
    A google search for the full install package's filename revealed an online download site (from taiwan).

    what's the big deal?

    It's a shame the youth of today seem to be, more and more, sucking off masses of random media and imagery, and not learning more about how things work.

    I enjoy any kind of outage for the fact that it usually provides me with some fresh air and exercise. too bad this crap is redundant.

    then again - I suppose you COULD learn something from porn.

    3 macintoshs running OS 9.1
    1 mac running OSx
    1 ppc yellow dog linux
    2 pc's, 1 win2k, 1 dual mandrake/NT4.

    and only 2 people.

    I have a blind friend who complains about the "ticks" when listening to a cd.
    with all of this copy protection and the high level of competition that arises between artists, even on the same label, to get widespread exposure, it's not much of a surprise that most of my musical friends have decided to record and distribute solely through their friends and other social networks, using mp3's and burnt cds.

    Mind you, they wont be making 2 million bux a record.

    I say boycott "Price code H" and go check out the bluegrass jam at your local bar.
