Well, first of all, that's bad style: for(;;) loops are (marginally) quicker and syntaxically cleaner. Secondly, it's an infinite recursive loop, not a repeating one.
That's strange, I prefer a nice NetBSD install over a nice linux install. Much more reliable, has solid NFS code, and is generally more stable and doesn't suffer from odd glitches I've seen using linux on my main workstation. My other workstation, a laptop, runs NetBSD (only IrDA doesn't work), with a nice X interface, a couple of mice, and KDE and whatnot.
Although I must agree: I'm odd. I choose BSD license over GPL. I choose NetBSD over linux. I choose innovation by a stable collection of hardcore developers over strange coders from all over the globe trying to get their code into an overhyped OS.
What I'd REALLY like to see, is some kind of device that would have banks for EEP-ROM, that you could click in, a bit like a removable memory bank really.. well, in fact just that. easily expandable, really fast (depending on the connection).
Well, actually, you could just have a HDD in a tray. Everybody (well, almost) already has IDE, they require no drivers as such. All one would need would be an ISO standard for the tray format, so it would be freely interchangeable. Sure, not shock resistant, but they can hold up to about 200GB.
Or maybe it's just too late, after a hot day and can't think straight. Oh well.
Funny.. When I got my CD-RW driver I read a few sentances of the HOWTO, installed xcdroast and cdrecord, and ofcourse turned IDE-SCSI emulation on, and got it up and running in like 30 mins.. Does rewritables without problem.. Except it doens't like 90min CD-Rs..
But then again, maybe I can actually read a HOWTO.
Not if you're got a SPARCstation.. those monitors are really quite heavy, I couldn't lift it alone, and I'm not that weak, I would estimate it at about 80 kg:)
It's about time that the moon got a base. It just boggles my mind why NASA never did that, it's so much cheaper to launch something from the moon. I'm glad at least the Chinese have some vision (I think).
So where can I write up for my apparment on the moon?
SuSE policy is (or at least used to be) to only release ISOs of releases that are about one or 2 versions behind, so you can download a 6.4 ISO or 7.0.. You have to be careful though, because there is a Live Evaluation and an evaluation, the former being only able to boot of CD-ROM, the latter being a toned version of just 1 CD.. So if you want a 8.0 ISO then you might have to wait a few months..
So that leaves Sunday for me?
Which means that 20% isn't!
But ofcourse, one must judge yourself before [2] one can judge others.
No, no, no.. that should be shiney metal ass!
Well, actually, I prefer the Bork, bork, bork! At least that ermm.. kinda makes sense..

I agree, adhering to standards is totally unnecessary!
No, no, no! You should buy stock in VIM!
No, but a CPU is supposed to make fewer errors when geting higher voltage, even though usually it's just like 0.1V more..
That's actually a good thing. Java sucks. All who like it should be burnt. All who teach it should be burnt, after receiving a good whipping.
Any decent language has pointers. Except maybe Perl, but that's it.
Well, I did own them, but then I gave the CDs to charity, because I had my legal MP3 copy.. *coughs*
He'd make a plan and he'd follow through, that's what Brian Boitano'd do!

Opens up a market for magnetic flyswatters though.

Fianlly something worth watching!

Another fine day for the /. trolls
It's a good think to know that it's actually being succesfully enforced, and how micro$oft is once again proven to be wrong.
Amen to that my brother! Although I don't think I could even defeat a simple casio calculator at chess (depending how good the algorithm is ofcourse)
since when does this site feature "news for nerds" or "stuff that matters"?
So why has he even been in "Screen Savers, The"? There may be hope for my acting career!
