The plugin is not available for my browser. How do I opt-out of the cookie?
If you're using any other browser, you can look for a common feature, which accomplishes the same as setting the DoubleClick opt-out cookie: Find a setting in your browser's settings that allows you to only accept cookies from sites you visit, or only "first-party cookies". This option may also be described as "blocking third-party cookies."
DO NOT use FIREFOX or other Browsers besides IE. It has been decided that Mozilla based, non-IE browsers do not properly work with our website, and we don't feel like modifying our code to support other browsers.
I agree with you there. On OSX it looks the same, but when I'm on FreeBSD the menus and the menu toolbar (File, Edit, Help, etc) have weird colors. It's worth it, though.
Then again it looks like it's using QT 3.3 on my system, but the current version is 4.3. That could be the issue.
Honestly, while apparently Opera isn't the fastest renderer anymore, the UI/feels/ so much faster. Also, moving back and forth with the 'Back' and 'Forward' buttons are faster in Opera because it does not send out another HTTP request each time you click the button, while apparently other browsers do.
Let your congressman know that, unless he at least attempts to undo those laws, you will stop voting for him.
Am I wrong, or is the reason that they cannot ship certain software products because the EULA specifically states that you cannot redistribute without permission? If this is the case, then telling your congressman would be worthless, wouldn't it?
Thanks. Looking at that video I almost find it hard to believe that very bright object is the toolbag. Could it be something else? Unless she left a really bright flashlight on in the bag when she dropped it...
5. Lack of decent file-browser. The best I've come across is Nautilus in a mode that resembles Windows Explorer. It'll do for now, but as far as I'm aware, offers no context-sensitive menus for applications (like the Winamp "Play in Winamp" right-click menu on folders.
GUI file-browsers are for chumps./Real/ *nix guys just use a terminal and a mixture of the sysutils.
It's faster that way, really. If you don't believe me, try it for a while -- you'll see. A few weeks getting comfortable with doing everything in a terminal, and when you go back to a GUI you'll wonder what the heck you were ever thinking.:)
Maybe Comcast will start charging less now for their internet if Classmates.com goes out of business, what with the huge decrease in used bandwidth thanks to the absence of these God-forsaken ads.
Fixed!
Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.
No really. This is SCARY.
Yes Virginia, there are bad people in this world.
Maybe. But more than likely you'll be preventing a lot of people from putting food on the table every night...

First person to make a fuss about this gets a prize!
If I had any mod points they'd be yours. I think you're right about this.
Let's cut taxes and reduce spending elsewhere, too!
Smaller government FTW.
There is no hint of irony here. None at ALL.
Blame the intern.
Of course! Doing so in an unobtrusive, unharmful way only adds charm to the product.

The good guys will always win. You hear me? Always!
I say we bring 'em to planet Earth and tell Al Gore to find another argument.

Wake up and smell the coffee!

Oh, nevermind, we're talking about Comcast here.
I'd be happier if they put the center in the good ol' USA.
Who cares? Unless you need to reboot regularly, this isn't so attractive.
Besides, suspend-to-disk works just as well if you don't need a clean boot.
How about a GP2X?
