Removing vandalism is not the same as censorship. There is a clear history of edits on the Wiki. Please show me where bias has occurred. I've even gone as far as to move vandalism to the "Hall of Shame" page rather than erase it entirely.
I understand your skepticism towards politics, but I'm serious about being open on my platform. I don't consider myself an expert on every subject. Your help is needed with your individual expertise or concerns. Isn't that what representative democracy should be about?
Well, part of it is the hardware and then connecting it all up, but I bet a lot of it is going to be spent on hardening the wireless points against those everyday fools we all know and love that like to destroy shit just to destroy shit.
Our downtown and park installations are outdoors. We did use proper enclosures and positioning for the elements and vandals. It still doesn't cost a lot.
$10 - $18 MILLION dollars? What are they using? Solid gold antennas?
My company, XMission recently completed a large free wireless project in downtown Salt Lake City. We did this in cooperation with Salt Lake City government but at no cost to the taxpayer. We've also installed free wireless in the city library, two ski resorts, several coffee shops and restaurants. The cost is cheapter than running television or newspaper advertising but for us the exposure is better.
This site has details on how we're able to do reliable and truly free wireless without costing the taxpayer millions.
But will they use it?

What would be nice if the console makers clued into allowing us to load the media onto the hard drive like what is done with hacks. I have kids, so I like to store the original media away from sticky fingers and and stomping feet. Even if it required keys and online authentication, I'd be happy if they used a hard drive for something more than storing game saves and small map updates.
The bad part: "To expand the FBI's power to seek records without the approval of a judge or grand jury."
This means no oversight, and opens the door for all kinds of abuse. Giving the government a little grief? No problem, they'll just have to make life hard for you.
I don't understand why Sun doesn't have a clue about Bittorrent yet. I went to download Solaris 10 and gave up after the first CD took all day over an OC3 connection.
Bungie says otherwise in their weekly "What's New" update. Scroll down through the miserable slow scroller (with super neat bottom graphic overlay!!). Quoted below for the lazy:
Fourteen dudes asked,
Are you making Halo for the Gizmondo?
I am told Microsoft does have a relationship with the handheld maker, but I can tell you right now the arrangement does not include Halo.
Does anyone know a smart-alecky, hysterical, cyberpunk author who can correct the obvious errors of Chinese nuclear engineers and point out the fallacies in this article?
I have a hacked I-Opener in my kitchen that runs a randomized slideshow of all my digital photos when it is blanked by xscreensaver. Not only does it allow friends and family to see a random sampling of our life on the fly, it gives me a terminal when I need it.
Qwest and Comcast have approached the Utah legislature and with their help they have written a bill that will effectively strip the funding options from municipalities who want to do UTOPIA.
Qwest has been very vocal about their opposition to fiber to the home. They are banking on WiMax as a replacement to DSL.
Heaven forbid our representative democracy be representative.
Representative Urquhart talked and ran in July then withdrew before the filing date in October of 2005. Cuban endorsed anyone but Hatch.

Oh come now, my record reviews weren't that bad.
How can I convince you otherwise?
Its similar to Karateka with good reason. Prince of Persia was the follow-up to Karateka. They were both written by Jordan Mechner.

Your "Cavalier", sir.

What a good idea! Null routing Massive Incorporated in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
Where's the ANY key?!? I have to get my drink unstuck from the cup holder.
Learn from history. Government legislation against spam has done squat.

Achtung! You're reading the gaming section of Slashdot. This wasn't a main story, and yes, it does qualify as news for gaming nerds.
I'm always glad to see more PS2 imports. Now we just need that weird rolling game, that cool drumming game, and the ribbon games and I'll be happy.
Time to turn around reverend, the choir has heard enough.

Last I checked, I-Openers were about $50 on ebay.
Ten games? Come to the yearly California Extreme and see all those plus another 190 vids and pins.

Its nice to see a behemoth friendly to open sourcing commercially dead games, even if this one happened inadvertently and in the worst way.
Now if they'll only consider doing it for some of their other properties (hint hint, "Total Annihilation").
Where can I get one before Apple crushes them?
