    i only upgraded once the original one ceased to work. luckily i am on a ~2mbps adsl line so the video quality is the same :D

    i remember my sister called me and told me the equivalent of she was having trouble with her laptop. later on in the conversation she asked if putting magnets on it were bad and asked why there wasn't a warning label.

    i love when my printouts default to the wrong paper size. out-of-paper despite full trays of letter because for some fscking reason abiword decided that paper size ought to default to A mother fscking 4.

    so this guy didn't install flash before he walked out the door? he probably didn't do any of the nonfree codecs (i think they're all in one package in ubuntu so mp3, divx, etc) and then dvdcss2 is seperate anyway. he must be new here.

    it sometimes doesn't even handle the regular major upgrades much less the LTS. i am not surprised and would bet that's a repeatable bug. i remember discussing that about how LTSes should be able to update to the next LTS without much trouble, because that is the corporate world. i hope they fix that up a bit.

    within a week my mouse cursor disapeared. the mouse worked and was plugged in, and the next step in the windows me help system was "reinstall the OS".

    i liked windows 2000. they switched to xp within like a year and no one remembers the jewel of microsoft.
