hasbro didnt even invent scrabble. they guy who did is probably dead and gone (or is one old son of a bitch) and they're still making money on it? if they're manufacturing and selling scrabble boards, fine. but why do they get to be the sole distibutor of scrabble? if i started making scrabble boards and selling them to people, why the fuck should they care? if i write a scrabble program that lets people play scrabble over the internet, why the fuck should they care, and why the fuck do they get to shut me down?
what the hell are you talking about? if you pay more than $15 for a CD, you're an idiot. if you can't find CDs on sale for $10-12, you arent looking hard enough. hell, go onto amazon, find a $15 CD, and click "buy new or used for as low as $x.xx, i have bought several brand new (still in the wrapper) CDs for under $10.
DVDs cost anywhere from $15 to $30 for a new movie release, $30 to $60 (or more) for one season of a tv show, and while similar deals can be found for DVDs, no, you cannot buy 2 DVDs for the price of one CD, unless they are the DVDs in the bargain bin that nobody wants, and you are paying full retail price for CDs (in which case you are retarded.)
i'm sorry. $1 for a digital music file that has any sort of DRM is too much for me to pay. i've bought a few dozen songs on itunes, most of them as full albums, but after a year, i hardly think it was worth it. I would much rather pay $11.99 for an actualy CD, which i can rip to mp3 on my own. or even $9.99 (or $8.88 on mp3tunes) for an album in plain old mp3 format. which i have done on many occasions.
and i would also like to be able to buy a song, or an album, once, and only once, and be able to listen to it whenever i want. not *oh that's not licensed for phones, you have to pay again* and *you want to burn that to a cd? or gasp put it on a portable music player? the cost of the song didn't include any of those uses. are you crazy?*
that is definitely andy merril at the end of "white kids love hip hop". mc chris does the voice for Little Carl, but not regular Carl.

i can't fucking believe all the negative comments in here. if you don't know who mc chris is, or you don't like him, stay the fuck away! when i see a story on slashdot about something i don't care about, i don't go in and say "i don't know who/what that is. IT SUCKS. HAHA LOSERS!" i'd like to see anyone who is saying he sucks do anything better. fact is, a lot of people like him, and think he is humorous, or talented, and generally a cool guy. suck on it.

comcast's regular high speed internet service is 4megabit download, 384 kilobit upload, for $57.95 per month, or $42.95 if you have other comcast services (i.e. cable or phone). For $10 more ($67.95 or $52.95), you can upgrade to 6 megabit down, 786k up.
iTunes has always been horrible in terms of CPU and memory usage, for some reason. actually, the original version ran reasonably well on my old iMac (400 mhz), and i assume that was because it had a lot of code in common with SoundJam MP, which it was based on (and which ran quite well). subsequent versions seemed to add all sorts of features, and perfomance became unbearable.
i have no idea how iTunes is built on the windows side of things, but i know it runs just as poorly. i avoid it at all costs.
i hereby complain that this post that i made yesterday was modded up incorrectly. it is in no way interesting. hopefully i will be modded offtopic for bringing this up here, to balance it out.

note that the Mac mini has a slightly faster CPU (and i'm willing to bet the G4 will out-perform the Via Eden in most cases). the Mini has a DVD burner as opposed to a DVD-ROM/CD-RW. the Mini has Apple's wireless keyboard.
so, the Mac Mini price is at least competitive with other small form factor computers, if not regular full size computers.
evolution is a theory and not a fact. but it's a pretty fucking good theory. unlike creationism, which is a theory founded on bullshit and make-believe. repeat after me: God does not exist, and he did not make people. (but that is just me theory...)
since half of his music is available for free on his website, i'm guessing the answer is "he doesn't"

something tells me that the people download Backstreet Boys and Hanson don't care too much about DRM.
or how they've reached their Comcast cap limit...

give me a break the show blows now, and without Captain Murphy *blech*
well, there's a good reason that captain murphy left the show.

i bet a lot more people would use linux if it had porn pre-installed...
the macfixit article mentions that these are pop-under ads. i definitely have noticed a few of these in the past week, using firefox on windows...
it really confused me, since like the submitter, i havent really seen anything like it for over a year...
glad i wasnt the fist one who nodiced this! sad to see it took 4 pages of comments for someone to point it out...
the NIC cards for their PC computers?
they spelled l0pht crack wrong. also it's just called LC5 now.

Ever since SP2, security problems have been few and far between
didn't they just release 13 new patches?
