I vaugly remember the first release date for that being july '97... of course, that was 6 years ago. Then they switched engines. Then they did it again.
By the time it's released, no body will buy it. Anyone who remembers the first DN3D will be dead.
Usually you buy them, but theres nothign stopping you from pouring your own. You can buy blocks of lead, along with bullet molds, from a lot of sporting goods places. The hard part might be making copper jackets, but those aren't really *needed*. I think the hardest thing to get would be the powder/casings/primers, if such things were banned. cases wear out after excess firings, so they wont' last forever.
Ozone warnings = ground level ozone, which is an irritant, can oxidize many substances quickly, and can even kill someone at high concentrations. it's a part of smog.
I don't know much about SMTP, but why leave it "public" - why not require a login/password to send mail from it? then they can't solicit your SMTP server
umm.. replying to that second link, where it says we're made of 100% meat and stuff... it even says the "brain is meat". usually, "Meat" refers to "muscle tissue"... the only internal organs with muscles are the heart, stomach, and intestines. oh, i guess bones are made out of meat too.

Hmm, everyone i know that keeps a gun for self defence keeps it right by their bed. They also keep their family well educated - their wife knows how to use it correctly, and the kids know how to respect it - and not touch it.
I don't see why guns are dangerous to have in homes - provided that you are responsible enough to make sure that the people that are around it know what they're doing.
Actually you're not, provided your not a dumbass who buys a gun and doesn't learn anything about it. If you have a well educated family, and you know anything about self-defense, then you shouldn't worry about that.

Not really. Most guns manufactured are sold for the purpose of a) making holes in paper b) making holes in animals. Their ability to kill people is a side-effect of b.
There are far more incidents where people use guns to ward off attackers then there are of people who kill people with. (IIRC someone posted numbers above)

um, yeah, thats how normal electricity flows as well. You don't fire an electron down a wire, you more or less stick one in one end, forcing a different one out the other. Think of a tube of marbles, you put a marble in one end, and another one comes out the opposite end instantaniously - you don't wait for the marble to roll down the tube.
Of course, we have fossilized brain sacs as evidence.
I mean, nobody, especially on slashdot, would ever present speculation as fact.
I would be wary of boarding a plane called the "Nimrod"...
I can imagine when this generation has kids, and they are fighting on the playground...
Kid1: My daddy can beat up your daddy!!
Kid2: No he can't!
Kid1: Yes he can!
Kid2: Well... your daddy is narrow-minded!
Kid1: *sobs*

According to the "food groups", beans and eggs go in with the meats... the meat group is more a protein group.
Most vegans love to shove their views down your throat then then entire clan of Jehova's Witness' combined.
Then we should just gouge out the cow's eyes and gag them before we kill them...

Isn't this the same DMCA mentality? "The only people who want to copy their CDs are criminals"
