TG16 was AWESOME when it came out. I still like the card vs. the cartridge, CD, DVD,or HDDVD/Blueray. Yeah with hindsight, it wouldn't scale as well maybe. I loved playing TG16 version of R-Type (Gradius?). It was beautiful back then, and is still cool now. Everyone loved bonk, but did you ever play Military Madness? A turn based strat game that was so much fun! I got it for my Cell phone when it came to that platform!
I read the pathetic excuse for an article, and you know what? It has a video of a dude burning one of the best Porno-Mag issues ever! (Que jokes about backdoor sluts 9)
I agree w/ herbs / ore etc.. The gathering goods go way up when you have your epic, but I have seen crazy money made on Epics. Two days later, you have enough cash for your epic mount!
You quest outlands to death, then, instead of buying your flying epic, you take that money and invest it in purples. So often people will put a purple item up, it will never get close to what they could really get for it. people trade these things for 1500K in a DAY.
Dailies alone is 100G / day. Gold farming ogres can be another 100G all that in about two hrs of playtime.
Tack on some decent auction skills, selling pots (or your chosen profession) and your well over 200G/day w/o breaking a sweat, or pissing off the wife!
Of course, it's work, and I don't do it too much I prefer my WIFE, and my RL toys. They blow away a naked night elf and a steam tonk controller any day!
I read the wiki, but it looks like it applies more to people who hear "voices." I heard a "VOICE." Just once (well that one situation). You don't have to believe me, I could even be crazy, but I have never heard any "voice" since that day, and I doubt I ever will.
The other time was sort of "divine" inspiration, a thought popped into my head about a physical action I could take to avoid a really bad situation, after I was prepparing myself for impact, resolved to the fact that there was nothing I could do. Maybe that time wasn't even a divine experience, it could just as well been "intuition" if you will.
It was a weird experience.. and again, I was not in a odd situation. I was doing nothing that I wouldn't normally do. I was young, had no real truamatic events ever happen to me at the time, no major accidents prior, wasn't old enough to be divorced. No imediate family passed. Not abused, everyone has had a love affair so that doesn't sound plausible to me, and I certainly am not pregnant. However, it interests me a bit, and I'll check the wiki!
Of course it is. Everything is viewed from the perspective of that moment, YES, it IS GOD. If my genetics allowed me to try and outrun a cop at 120+, but wouldn't let me drive down a 40mph street w/o a seatbelt then by all means there is some form of "intelligent design" Even if it is just aggressive darwinian evolution, to me, at that time, and as I believe now, it was God.
I agree completely! It's weird how that happens. Though I think engine reliability and technology has gotten a ton better.
(cue conspiracy theories (and facts) about how it would be 10000x better if they (car companies) didn't pattent horde, no not pattent THE HORDE...)
The LS1 was a technological revolution in it's time, and the true test of the engine is now, about 8-10 years down the road, how is it still performing?
Many other manufacturers were doing similar experiments at the time, it will be interesting to see what the longevity of a modern car is at different price points vs different decades.
It'll also be interesting to see how synthetic oil really does after 10 years of use, what does the engine look like?
I love comenting about my '00 GM (Pontiac) firebird formula. W/ it's 5.7L engine, I get 18/26 mpg 0-60mph of 5.0 seconds, and I romp on it every day for the last 120,000 miles. I have had to replace tires, belts, and a little extra silicone around the T-Top Seals. Oh, and the backlight on my clock just went out.
I think reliability in my case speaks for itself!
I also know that I got lucky. Most people don't drive 1/2 as hard as I do, and have to do 2x the repairs.

Yeah, I allready lost alot of weights. And I used some "65lb" line too! I have been slowly breaking branches around it for a few weeks now!
But a jetpack would be quicker, and might be able to retrieve the plane in 3 pieces!
