I wasn't saying Zynga should actually switch to HTML5, I was pointing out that HTML5 is not limited to videos like you imply, but can do anything that flash can...
The average price for a DS game is around 40 euros.
This makes it impossible for the 8-18 demography to buy more than maybe 2 or 3 games a year.
And you actually wonder R4 cards are a hit?
There is a reason games sell so well on the iphone, and to a lesser extent android: they are usually at most 3 or 4 euros...
My HTC desire has great reception. My Nokia N95 had great reception.
Most of the phones I've ever used had great reception, and the was no Official(TM) Apple(TM) way to hold them.
You could actually just hold them any way you wanted to...
you just made your device a danger to AT&T's network
A danger to the network? Seriously? You have been able to install any app you want on any phone ever sold on any network since GSM exists, but jailbreaking your iphone puts AT&T's network in jeopardy??
Actually, the iphone also lags when switching to landscape. How many times have I seen an apple fanboy demonstrate how great their iphone was when switching to landscape while looking at pictures, only to have to move their wrist two or three times to actually get the thing to turn...
Of course, anybody who went through the trouble of installing an alternate bootloader for his iphone is definitely not going to be able to find the.apk file needed to install google maps on his phone...
Right...
You are almost funny...
The US NEED china a lot more than china needs the US.
Your industrial production capacity is close to zero, and even if it was not, anything manufactured in the US is going to cost a kidney.
You have to realize something: the chinese produce crap because that's what us "civilized countries" ask them for. You ask for your shinny new GPS or cellphone for cheap, your children's toys or your paint for next to nothing, like every single other american or european consumer. Well, the only way for them to manufacture for cheap is to save on wages and on quality.
The day you'll accept paying more for everything coming out of china is the day you will see higher quality stuff with a "made in china" stamp.
Thank you very much, but no.
My phone has been rooted, but that has NOTHING to do with customs roms.
Contrary to what motorola has done with the droid, where the bootloader allows any rom to be flashed, or contrary to what HTC has done with the nexus one, motorola designed the milestone's bootloader so that it would only allow roms digitally signed with their own key to be flashed.
One of motorola employee even said that people looking to use custom roms should buy an HTC dream or an google nexus one... http://community.developer.motorola.com/t5/MOTODEV-Blog/Custom-ROMs-and-Motorola-s-Android-Handsets/ba-p/4224
Android does have multitasking, which the iphone doesn't support, except for a few applications (music, emails...).
For example, you can have an app sitting in the background alerting you to new twitter posts...
Here in France, every blank media is heavily taxed, including: CDs, DVDs, Bluerays, hard drives, USB flash drives, memory cards, even cell phones...
Right now they are considering taxing printer ink, to subsidize book scanning...
With Fios, he probably meant what he wrote.
That guy is the best modern science fiction writer, along with Iain M. Banks. His books are so good it's amazing
How exactly do you know it was never exploited?
You mean, like the iphone and the pdf exploit that allowed any website to root it?
I wasn't saying Zynga should actually switch to HTML5, I was pointing out that HTML5 is not limited to videos like you imply, but can do anything that flash can...
anything farmville does in flash can be done in HTML5
You seriously want to put a phone that has a history of remote vulnerabilities on a battlefield?
Doing your best? Can you please try to work at home first? Here is a map of the country which signed the Kyoto protocol : http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9d/Kyoto_Protocol_participation_map_2009.png/400px-Kyoto_Protocol_participation_map_2009.png Notice anyone missing?

It's funny how every single other phone is not affected by this very dangerous government regulatior...

That never went online :(
Android starts to lag badly after a while on production builds straight from the manufacturer.
On a G1, yes, but on the droid (I own a milestone, the GSM european version of the droid), definitely not...

Right...
Either way, these are not too shabby figures for Linux market penetration. I wonder how many of those installs are on the Desktop though? ;)
Most of those ubuntu installs are probably desktop (I hope, who would seriously consider ubuntu for a server install?)

A simple script, and every single account wiped clean... That's even better than the goatse idea!!
