I'm sure most people on the plane figured they'd land at an airport somewhere while the terrorists got $$$ or something else they wanted. Most of these attacks end without the destruction of the plane. I'm sure if they knew what was going to be done they would have put up a fight.
Your e-mail relative to the case entitled Pavlovich v. Superior Court
(H021961), has been received. Your comments about this court's
decision in said case are well taken. However, you may want to send
your comments about their need for an unbiased technical advisor by
letter to the Santa Clara County Superior Court at 191 North First
Street, San Jose, CA 95113. I suggested writing a letter because I
don't believe they have a website at this time.
Very truly yours,
Willy Magsaysay
Senior Deputy Clerk
I'm all out of stamps, someone send a letter for me.
Want a sure fire way to piss of a someone from Central or south america? Go to Costa Rica and call yourself an American. Guess what, they are too. Americans are anyone from north, south or central america, not people from the United States of America.
Loki can't GPL the games they put out, they are direct ports of closed source games. They have to sign contracts, NDA's and the like saying that when they license the source code, to do the port that they will not share it with others. If they only ported previously GPL'd games, you wouldn't get Myth, Sim City, Descent or the like. So you either accept that they are closed source, or you play the (mostly) crap games that you CAN get under the GPL.
Actually, I had makecat problems, it wouldn't always copy files into the dir's that I specified, I'd tell it the DOCROOT was/home/httpd/ and it would still copy into/var/www.... nothing major, someone prolly left something hardcoded in the script, just replace it with a variable.
They are NOT looking for a shopping cart. Btw, I just finished installing Interchange, what a PITA!!!
The guy is looking for software to run an ISP. Probably something that will add/delete users, bill them, and access their credit cards. To add delete users, it's going to need to tie into the user database, radius, mail and for domainhosting, httpd.conf.
More stuff would be great, but it's to early to think about that now.
How will something like this EVER be possible. Regardless what type of protection they place, I can still use the LOW-TECH method to get their audio into my mp3's. Think "Audio Patch Cable" Just two simple stereo male miniplugs. Plug one into audio out, the other into audio in/mic. Start my favorite audio recorder, then fire up whatever "Copywrite protecting software" they give you. Make your mp3's from there. Hell, this is the same way I get my old tapes to mp3!!
Ok, what's the difference between this new X11R6.5.1 and the X11 4.0 that was just released earlier this year? I'm not as interested in licensing differences as I am in features. I'm quite confused now. What do I get from a Download at x.org and what do I get at a download from xfree86.org/
hey I'd suggest dropping the tagline, it makes YOU look like the idiot. "There" should be used as in "He is over there." "They're" should be used as in "They're going to the mall." And lastly, the possesive form is "Their" as in "--Your village called their idiot is missing."
Sorry, but remember they want to run Mail and a website on this box. We're forced into NT at work, and one thing ANY sysadmin knows not to do is place IIS and Exchange server on the same box. That's instant suicide. Both of those servers are hogs and you expect it to encode mp3 too? Please forgive me if I think your nuts.
This problem will finally go the way of the Dodo when the internet is available in the bathroom. Now, no more need to print that Howto before I go for a sit. Just look it up in the john. Btw, I think the ibook and airport will be the beginning of this. Sure I can take a laptop to the bathroom now, but who wants to drag an ethernet/phone cable in?
I'm in alabama everybody knows the internet was formed here by a few cotten bails and some barbed wire fence. Or was it with a shrimp net strung between two shrimp boats, so they could communicate. Yah, I like that better.
You missed my point. LIBRARIANS ARE ADMINS. Most librarians aren't going to be able to administer PC's (networking on macs is simplestupid). Also when you ditch the cost of wiring a complete building, you make up a LOT of that 200-600$ per machine. Plus the cost of a network admin or techie to keep the PC's running.
And VERY FEW people EVER upgrade a machine short of adding a new Harddrive or Ram. Much less in a school sitation.
Speaking from experience, my mom's a kindgergarden teacher and I helped with their network.

Everyone knows that everquest was the most addictive. Or at least it was for me. Asheron's call was a cheap knockoff.
