NOD 32 v2.7 its easy on system resources, it's not so expensive (at least here) and is not annoying like the rest of anti virus solutions I use it besides SpyBot because they work well together, some infections, like WildTangent, are discovered by NOD just After SpyBot find them first, SB can't delete them but NOD tries and 80% of the time it can clean the pc. I don't like NOD32 v3.x, it remembers me when Norton AV started to become bloated.

Yes, it's funny but it's also insightful as a "comunist OS" would not be a very appealing option on some countries who have an history of Left vs. Right related conflicts. Actually Microsoft is making a lot of advertising for home users like I've never seen before, some newspapers here are giving away Cd sets of tutorials for Windows Vista and Office 2007, and I know first hand that Microsoft not only gives the medium but also is paying for it to be bundled in the newspaper.... How long before we'll see statements like this?: "Would You use the Communist OS that is forced in Communist China? get the WOW!"

My 1 yo daughter have some fascination to take my laptop and hammer the keyboard too.. I just open OO Writer and crank the font size up, she hammer the keyboard a bit and look on the the screen, she tooks my cellphone and talk a bit and back to the keyboard.. she even know that the red dot in the keyboard moves something in the screen. It was easy to recover my laptop I just bought some old non working Satellite 105 CS and pasted a custom "paper desktop" on to that. She's happy with it.

It's true that a laptop for a 2 yo can be overkill but kids in these days are very very ahead from what we used to do in our childhood. I advise you to try, not every child is equal.

The bullets that kill all those people are paid with the money you spend on drugs (legal or illegal) either there or from there.. and You need to be a world class moron to complain about something your country is causing.. no wonder why you're in an economical chaos, you like to blame other counties for the things you started and fueled there, but you can't just see under the bed. Take that thicks out off your ass first and then TRY to dictate how the rest of the world should be. As if America could be the example of how a country should be. I love America and wish it's best, but morons like you that don't know anything else but complain about what themselves cause just piss me off. You can mood me to the Yucatan, but you can't mood reality.

  18. Re:Flash on Why Is Adobe Flash On Linux Still Broken? · · Score: 1

Yeah! blame the webmasters.. not the clients that like and ASK for teh OH SHINNY!

For them HTML vs. FLASH is not matter of w3c compliance or clean code they don't give a heck about standards.. it's all about OH SHINNY!!=$ .. I can't blame webmasters doing something in flash because is faster (you don't have to hack for diff browsers and versions), you know stuff will look as you designed almost everywhere, if the web master is freelance, he usually will get paid more for a flash site than for an html site .. All I see when people complain about Flash is "it's BAD because is not html" "it's ugly because is flash" "Flash will eat your first son because it proprietary" bla bla bla. You can put HTML inside a flash, and format it with CSS, even put javascripts for popup windows in them and they work.. People think that flash it's like doing stuff wit play-doh.. actually Flash uses code.. ActionScript and you can do amazing stuff with it (I saw some Forex app entirely made in flash with so many variables and a remote db that you can check and calculate every aspect of import/export for your own products in real time for almost 100 diff countries.. talk about pay-doh.. and as a plus.. it had nice animation section explaining the process for novices.. so it worked as a tool for learning that annoying Forex protocols.. It was never meant to be web based)

I run the Flash binary in ubuntu 8.04 and FF3 (tree diff machines) and I NEVER seen a bug in them, never a crash, never a content that does not show as it should.. and I have tried streaming video from all FLV players I've found and EVERYONE of them have worked.. I call for a break in the "Flash does not work on Linux" I've had more problems with Matroska H.264 in VLC/Mplayer both in Win and Linux BTW.. ... *hides under the desk*
