    Webmail doesn't have to be gmail or yahoo. You can have your own webmail installed on your own server.

    I think Novell is doing the right thing in supporting GNOME. That is not to say that KDE is not a good environment, but GNOME is a good desktop too.

    So I support their choice!

    Way back in the 2nd Doctor era of Doctor Who, one of the episodes set in the future depicted an earth where rockets were obsolete, and then they had to be brought back into service and improved.

    Apparently they missed the new show with Christopher Eccleston - they just mentioned the old one.
    The new show got tremendous ratings, so it surely should have been in the top 10.

    I recommend the Canon scanners too over other scanners. I never had problems with them or their drivers. Try the LiDE range too if you want something more state of the art eg 48 bit scanning.

    No because my printheads are inside the cartidge!
    So what problems could be caused? When it's time to dump the cartidge, the print head is dumped too..

    What some erroneously call a dimension, is actually a parallel universe. I think it's the fault of bad sci-fi... :)
    Real-life scientific "dimensions" are something else entirely.

    Perhaps they will call it OLE or COM.
    Remember COM, OLE etc went through quite some renaming in what the acronyms meant. So it's possible that they will make something else in future and call it WinFS too..

    To me it means you're an expert or have a lot of expertise in a subject such as computing. Or a sci-fi fan with a lot of knowledge on that subject.
    Of course there are geeks in other areas too e.g pharmacy geeks etc...

    BBC PRIME should have broadcast the new Dr Who show to Europe and other countries too.

    Especially since the local tv stations don't want to carry the show (except for Canada and Australia, ok and I think Korea)
