I've got one and stumbled across a "multi-cart" at a local used toy store. One of the nice things about the Vectrex is that GCE released all the games in to the public domain so things like the multi-cart are legally on the up and up. It's a great unit, but good luck finding one without resorting to Ebay - in all the years I've been hitting thrift stores/garage sales, I've only found 2.
Since when is mp3 a lock-in format? (the bulk of what is on my Pod is ripped from my own collection). Nothing is stopping you from from doing that or buying from online vendors that sell albums in mp3 format. Don't be dense.
"My trusty G4 iBook handles World of Warcraft rather nicely, so I'm thinking a little light gaming on the new one is not out of the question."
Speaking as someone who just purchased a Mac Mini (with the same video chipset) WoW is playable....if you're not too picky and are willing to take a slight quality downgrade. It can get a little jerky in high-population areas but it didn't seem much worse than on my PC (AMD Athlon 64 3200 + Geforce 6600)
"Microsoft certification to teach you how to administer properly." *cough**choke* Man - you made Coke shoot out my nose on that one. Ever think about going into stand-up?
"The Avengers A facless hero clan. I can't even name a single hero in this group."
You just did - Captain America, Ant-Man, Hawkeye and Black Panther have all been members at one time or another (along with fair chunk of the Marvel Universe)
"(Note: I am not gay, but come on now, killing someone just because they are gay? How sick of a "society" do you have to be to do something like that?)"
If it is still in waranty I'd take it up with Apple because it sound like it might be defective. My 4G iPod (and my wife's) have no problem whatsover with battery life.
I absolutley agree. While the bombings in London were tragic and I feel for the people that were affected, you have to realize that more people die in a average day in traffic accidents. Quite frankly it's not worth sacrificing citizen's civil rights for.
I know this is going to sound nit-picky, but since Kirk was from Iowa and Bones from Georgia, I'd say there was 1 character that was Scottish and 2 that were of Scottish decent.
Ok...once again Slasdotters have proven not only to be unable to RTFA but can't even bother to read the freaking summary - what part of "robotic probe that could MELT its way through the polar icecaps on Mars or ice covering Europa's ocean" didn't you understand?
Hate to say this, but why not an iPod? It supports Audible out of the box.
Might as well add Global Warming opponents also.

Not really new...the Mini has had Bluetooth and Airport Extreme since the switchover to Intel chips.

I take it you didn't see the movie - he *tried* to get things done while he had political office - the powers that be would have none of it.

Still wrong - from the TFA:
"The draft legislation, created by the Bush administration and backed by Rep. Lamar Smith"
note - CREATED BY THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION.
"Microsoft certification to teach you how to administer properly."

Or maybe the father of the children didn't have any sense of responsiblity and took off. Don't be an ass.
A year and a half..say that is a long long time.
You spend over $100 for a game system and can't be sure which one you bought? Early on-set Alzheimer's?

Good Lord....you do realize that there were home computers in 1985 right?

Dunno...why don't you ask Matthew Sheppard?
Not quite but we're getting there.
Yes but when was it purchased? if he has proof of purchase still, it may still be in waranty

You again? I thought Oolon Colluphid took care of you for good.
"I should point out that if this attitude were actualized as law, it would doom free software as we know it, as well as commercial software."
Incorrect...if copyright/EULAs were abolished there would be NO NEED for the GPL anymore.
As has been mentioned earlier....the antenna IS NOT A TRANSMITTER and therefore does not fall under FCC regs.

Same with the cops. Portland cops are a bunch of loose cannons.
