  1. Sun Exclusion -- Java vs .Net? on GNOME Foundation Elections Results Are In · · Score: 1, Interesting

It's very interesting that Sun has been excluded from the board since as far as I know the board sets the technical direction for GNOME.

Does this maybe mean that .NET/Mono has won the battle of GNOME? Interesting times.

This reads more like a PR stunt than anything else. Expect work conditions to be more of the same at EA. The same, constant, broken promises.

I'm talking about this poor guy H. Ertas who gets locked up by your government for no good reason. Your government is trying to censor information, so that I and others cannot access it.

You somehow always manage to overlook the issue.

Who the f*ck is trolling here?

Look what happened to H. Ertas when he did "research". I don't dare risk it or your government might bomb my country.

If this is what your government does to a web editor, what do you think they do to their journalists?

    Guys please, what?

We're supposed to take you and your government's word for it, as opposed, to say, consulting the compiled information and links on dmoz.org and deciding for ourselves?

Seems to me it's your government that's being heavy-handed here, not PKK.

Suse 9.2 should have it too. If you try to open a file and you see the KDE file dialog you know you have it whatever distribution you're running.

At least it worked for me.

I has a 120G Maxtor harddrive that started making an awful clicking sound, then it would only work if it was placed on the side. Soon, it stopped working at all and the BIOS wouldn't recognize it properly.

After some googling, we sealed it in a vacuum bag and plastic box and froze it overnight. Then we left it at room temperature for about 15 minutes and hooked it up.

The damn worked! It worked for a whole day and lasted long enough for us to get everything off of the drive, Linux partitions, Windows partitions, the works.

The biggest problem is condensation as it heats up, but thankfully we avoided any shorts.
