    IF (big if) you have a WinCE Smartphone, Microsoft TAPI (Telephony API) is your answer. It can process incoming and outgoing calls in amazing ways. A good place to start may be here.

    ... but I live in latinoamerica (Argentina) and at least 50% of the computers come with some form of Linux, and its even announced like some technology great and new. Only Compaqs and high-priced PCs come with a original copy of Windows. It`s not a joke, i gonna take a picture of the ads and post somewhere. Linus gonna piss their pants!

    Little off-topic, but anyone with Linux, a nvidia card and x.org should test xcompmgr, it gives you hardware-accelerated translucency, ala OS-X. It looks gorgeus, and works with gnome and kde. A must have!
    Disclaimer: Iam not related in any way to xcompmgr. Just a happy user.

    You got to try Soma FM, the Ambient Music and Groove Salad and the best radios of all, with great (known and unknown) artists.
    Soma comes by default on the Winamp online radio list. Some way to play this on Linux? (Totem and XMMS cant handle the stream very well)

    Pascal is far from dead. In my work i can recompile a big (and i mean BIG) delphi project in less than 1 minute, with a budget machine. One C++ project normally takes hours to compile... Pascal is blazing fast, has 95% the speed of C and it has range checking,so forget about buffers overflows. The productivity is orders of magnitude over C++ (Well, for me at least)

    Microsoft got a "deal" with our Mother f^D^D^D^D^D^D^Dminister of economy, and the same plan, will come with windows XP home pre-installed. Result: the machines will cost 150u$s more than in Brazil. (They are lousy celerons)
    By the way...I am a high-payed programmer, my salary is about 800u$s, even I can't afford Windows. Posting from ubuntu :)

    Almost all of the supermarket and consumer stores sell pc clones with linux in them. Adding windows would double the price. They are using Xandros or Mandrake.
