    Not that difficult. Shall I name a few device names?- Pharos 535v- HP iPaq 111- HP iPaq 211 (would go for that one, 4" VGA screen rocks)Motorola/Symbol still make lots of them but they are way too expensive, and not as robust as they look like.The used market should be huge.And by the way, is it really the case that you cannot buy a Windows Mobile phone without a contract? In Germany it wouldn't be a problem at all.

    they already are part autonomous: http://marsrovers.nasa.gov/technology/is_autonomous_mobility.html At least when it comes to driving. The NASA guys are pretty smart, and I'm sure other tasks are as autonomous as they could make them with the technology they had when they built them.

    It's your reading comprehension that is problematic. There's a list of things that the poster thinks infringe copyright. Lending and giving away books is in this list. The next item raises the question of doing the same with e-books in the future. That doesn't change the status of lending books as an item in a list of infringing activities.

    Unfortunately, Amazon probably needed to demonstrate how serious they were I didn't see from TFA what stage this was at, but it sounded like it was simmering in the legislature.If it had passed the house and was to come to a vote for the Senate, that might have been a good time. If it was on the governor's desk, that might have been a good time.But if it's really just being worked on now, this is way too much too soon. They should have minimized the amount of time their affiliates would be out of business.

    Actually proper English indicates that you double consonant when adding 'ing' if it ends with one, or drop the 'e' if it ends with one: hop -> hopping hope -> hopingso: munge -> munging mung -> mungging

    How hard is it for them to profile the owners of homes using high grade encryption and find likely political dissidents, then using laws they brought in to "catch high-tech paedophiles" physically seize computers and compel the owner to provide a password, which they have ruled is not protected by the 4th amendment and failure to do so is a crime?

    I found that when I installed ubuntu on my network, a bigger step than most would take, that the battery life was significantly worse than XP. The things windows is better at may mostly be out of the equation but there will always be a few that might affect the user, as an example there are games that a netbook can run that linux can't. If netbooks did get less powerful and more specialized the OS would matter less again. a fitting signature, "Screw Linux, use DOS."

    I'm not sure what the problem was. Cell networks are built on standards. If you obey the standard, there should be no reason any other standards-respecting equipment won't talk.Maybe your company just tried to cut corners/costs and built the network half-assed?

    Well pardon the pun as well, but maintenance will be possible remotely. If I remember correctly we have 4 times more solar power for the same area in orbit vs equatorial illumination. I am not sure the challenges of bringing a megawatt from the Sahara to Europe are smaller than bringing it from orbit. Note as well that a kilogram of solar cells is a lot of surface, that micrometeorite and radiation damage are on par with desert storms and that a huge advantage of an orbit-based power plant is its ability
