Interesting point you bring up CSI as a bad qualification for a juror. I once had a conversation with a defense lawyer. He says he asks jurors if they watch CSI, or the Wire as one of his profiling questions. If they do, he rejects them as a pick. I understand CSI, but I don't understand The Wire as that show sympathizes with the criminal side a little more.

This is just another formula you can add to that portfolio of concrete making. Who says you have to use this to build something important like a skyscraper or bridge. Obviously the engineers that build those things will decide on the best tried and true material for that application. If we're talking about a sidewalk (which usually takes about 10 yrs to crack anyway) who cares if it's 2/3 more heavy.

Sarah Connor Chronicles could be good, but I feel like they're trying to do a poor version of a Lost type story arc. Sarah Connor's narratives at the beginning of every episode are cheesy. The look of the show is great though. That and Summer Glau keep me watching, but no love lost if they cancelled it.

Comcast could just as easily buy Suburban Cable next week. Not sure if yours is the same Suburban cable, but our Suburban Cable was bought out by Comcast in the 90's. This type of industry gravitates towards monopoly if you let it. It's the nature of the ISP business.

So what is easier for the Fed, pass laws protecting Net Neutrality or investigate and litigate every acquisition a large ISP makes in the future.

I just love how when I go to a store now and there are 2 types of Sudafed. There's Sudafed on the shelf with phenylephrine (the kind that doesn't work), and the properly named kind you have to sign a log book to get with pseudoephedrine. So what this means is I cannot go to the corner store to get the good stuff after hours. Meth heads have to ruin it for everyone. But thinking about it more I guess I don't mind this as long as it's not outlawed outright.
