    Rooms for rent in my area yields 1 in-town location on Kijiji. Posted October 7. It provides two other offerings (also from October) that are 80 and 140 miles away.
    Craigslist has 5 in-town hits and 6 more within plausible commuting distance posted since yesterday.

    On Windows the question the users ask isn't "How can I do this?" but rather "What do I have to buy that will do this?"

    The OSs that Wikipedia says dir was used in (CP/M) appeared in 1973. It also says that Unix was using ls from the beginning: 1969.

    No, the problem was that he was stealing a lot of idle processing power to pursue a personal hobby. Maybe if he had gotten somebody to sign off on this it wouldn't have been an issue.

    There's no way a laptop would choke at 60 degrees Fahrenheit. That would make it never run at any usable speed, for all practical purposes.

    Hence the controversy.
