i noticed their music selection is quite odd (though growing very quickly) still no punk or industrial music i see. and the selection of music is quite offbeat. some bands have a discography and some have a 'b-sides collection'.
that sales figure is even more amazing considering the variety they have.
he is getting the money that he put into his unemployment fund (aka unemployment insurence). if he works more than a few years he will over contribute to it and he loses that money. (turn your passion toward where that money goes -- all the dollars that employeed people over pay into the system)
when bush 'extended' the coverage (which is normally done in any recession) the government does shell out cash from taxes into the fund without repayment as some gift. the unemployment fund will repay it if need be.
that money is there also for people who get their wages reduces. if you were making $50k and then you got reduced to $35k you could get money from your unemployment fund to help out during your changes to assist you.
i am curious what the performance of a router is going to look like with two agencies peering into it.
on the face of it this is going to look like a provider outage i am thinking. since its completely 'transparent' even with multiple big brothers or any blakc hat people that might have jumped on the router as well i am thinking.
if nothing is going to show up in the interface statistics and nothing in the cpu is going to account for the activity. but when you look at your csu/dsu (or equivlent) you will see the activity.
maybe the best way to deal with this is to forget using the real traffic, but rather use the rfc that they propose for actual communication since its invisible to the other peers. sounds like a stealth vpn to me of sorts.
my assumption is that when you add these simm/dimms to the motherboard (or to a video/raid card) that they are being added to a contigious pool of memory (or they are starting one if there isnt any there before hand)
when you have card slot (isa or some homebrew bus extension) and you have a memory on that card you dont have contigious memory. this memory also tended to have the option to be battery backed up since a new device driver needed to be written for the os to access it anyways.
i guess this might be neat now that computers dont have extra 'cards' of memory. but when that was the way to expand your computer it was quite easy to have this method of storage.
i assume this technology can be easily defeated if it even exists. most likely they are just trying to stop the bleeding that they have in their investments.
they need to make a statement to combat their losses every week or so. so they mumble some insane thing. related or not to their losses.
most of the good video are copies of 'for review only' are they are just copies of a vhs tape to me in quality. and the groups release them before the movie is actually out which hypes up the demand.
i still think this technology can be defeated by some sort of filter on the lens of the camera... like a mirror'ed sunglass cut to fit.
he doesnt have to rehabilitate, he served his time and was set free. screw them if they don't like him or his skills. sure they can hold that felony thing over his head forever.
i am sure being on pbs with with woz and captain crunch is nice. not to mention all the goofy shows like techtv from time to time. obviously some people have forgiven him.
they rip off the local dealer as well with huge quotas, large minimums, no discounting, etc. as if its some privledge in and of itself to have their products.
then enter their own local gw stores which dont have to deal with any of that.
There isnt anything wrong with it that I have ever found. Its easy to extend and scale and making a client is very easy and can be as sexy as you want or need it to be (c, java,.net, perl)
Not that its proof of anything but Oracle has gone down this path as well on the integrated IM services.
I think it was. I know I wanted one very very badly at that time. Even today those screen shots look very usable. By usable I mean it had a gui that is simular to what we all use today, it had the all purpose application of the day AppleWorks amoung others. It also had the imagewriter (maybe even the v2 model). It also had a lot of games available which isnt all that bad either.
I think that insurance/finance companies will bundle cars with their services. Basically like a lease, the insurance company dolls out the car to you and you pay them a monthly fee with covers the insurance for the vehicle.
The companies would buy at large fleet discounts and offer safer vehicles.
Potentially they could use their lobby to get government to give them insentive credits on using certain better energy resources/methods that are currently stalled.
agreed, i think its terribly offensive to the borg everytime i see the protrayal of bill gates having been brought into the collective. clearly the borg would not embrace his uniqueness.
what this type of things really needs is support of one of the networks to plug scores or highlights between commercials or after shows (dare i suggest WWF).
i think people would love to see warcraft like ladder stats. best would be a techtv netcam deal as well.
this type of setup combined with the existing organized video game 'athletics' that tour around would be great.
So they want to jail people for file trading/stealing a few hundred bucks worth of crap, but the corrupt CEO's of Enron (file trading/stealing peoples life's savings) and otherwise will likely do less time than the kiddies they make examples of.
Nice to see our perspective of domestic and international law are on par with each other in the insane asylum.
Didnt Texas just notice that their tried to give someone a needle in a case where the accused was found guilty with evidence from police paid witnesses and evidence was withheld? Yahoo Story
Like they need to find more ways of fucking people with their backwards justice. Perhaps they could figure out how to administer what they have first.

not all dvds, my netflix subscription usually only works 1:5 times. it also wont play all the dvds in the xfiles boxed set for some reason.
1) sell (exclusively license) doom3 to microsoft
2) profit
3) change intro screen
4) release doom4

Oh yeah and they could offer free music too.
I have faith that the MSN butterfly can do it ... he is so smart, strong and brave ... he can do anything.

agreed, i have been following the few attempts related to the bugzilla thread.
this is great, i wish roaming profiles was in the pipeline however even a decent hack to commit / checkin to a uri resource.
or hack to get yahoo companion working again.
Isn't this what the CIA shell companies are for? But I guess it's cheaper to outsource it to private companies wh oare already setup to do this.
i am bored, i'll do it free -- someone send me a cd. likely there is a very very silly workaround for this.
i dont agree with all your saying here, that NYSE pulling them from the stock exchange was quite stupid of them.
the same line of thinking with awarding halliburton defense contracts with undisclosed dollar values.
