  1. i think we need an exact and indiscriminate 12 monkey virus that decimates human population, or brings it back to 1 billion tops .. indiscriminately so there's no viral nepotism heh. If i had it right here, id push the button, at the risk of being one of the 6 billion who would die. At current tek-levels the planet could probably be managed with 100.000 sapients, maybe even less (hopin a few employees of nuclear plants survive hahah or we could get the ultimate solution for global warming way sooner than expected) ... in about 5-10 years life would be more luxurious than it had ever been, over 100 or more years the biodiversity would stop declining and maybe for some reason (if nature is conscient and not simply a living network acting in self defense) the planet would stop counter-attacking (short way of saying it i suppose and not very scientific but quite graphic)
i should be careful what i say because terrerism and all that but i am a total bum with no degrees so its safe to say i don't have lab and access to modified small spock so live long and die horribly eating protein sludge :) enjoy it. From all i see, hear and read its either that or 200 years from now farming sapients for food

  2. somewhat funny ... i fear an Acid-trip is highly personal, after all it rewires the brain and lets say the brain is highly personal. I'm not sure (and i loathe to use the word but to keep it simple) ordinary people can turn into extra-ordinary (or ab-normal as Salvador Dali would say it) people by dropping acid. It will give way to introspection ofcourse but how that gets interpreted is probably more difficult than explaining the meaning of dreams. Well known boast that steve jobs did and said he wouldnt be who he was without it but lets face the fact that Jobs was already outside the norm to keep it statistical before he dropped that drop or paper whatever it is people use these days. Imagination is limited by the self, ergo an acid trip will be limited to what is already in your world. I myself have seen actual stuff like a whole bar full of people partying when i was on a 'trip' with my girlfriend, craving for cigarettes stood there at the door, no one opened , just to turn back around to see it was closed. We both saw that, that is more than eerie ... several things, walking through a street with the rooftops bending as if it were a cartoon, being able to "touch" the top of the belfry tower of the church, my cat as big as a pig hovering above my head, i was jimi hendricks in the mirror and at one stage i wanted to 'float down the stairs' which my gf (luckily) prevented ... but thats just one trip and there was way more than that. The effects lasted for about 24 hours on just 8mm, it was called "double bart" or "bart simpson overdose" ... i DID feel the need to try and describe it afterwards but just like a dream it more or less faded. Wether it changed me ? i have never been normal its hard to say, but i don't believe it can turn people into einsteins or dalis if they dont already have the weird-gene

I was such a fan and now you turn to Edisonian tactics ... the sheytan did get to you then, may the gods have mercy (if any are willing to care cos i dont really believe in those, most gods i met usually told me that they'd listen if i could spell my name in galaxies at the very least so i'm working on that). the only decent non-edisonian reason to do this if you call yourself innovation is if they're not really 100% tested yet (or well say 99 since there is no 100) in which case releasing them in the name of escape the hurricane brings up other issues so minus one for mister E.

call me skepticat ... if i had besos-money, id get one ... well if i had besos-money id get many things, including a driver with a car , but even then ... i don't see how a vr-headset can be very healthy ... i mean even in "normal" games or entertainment its is generally advised to take one break at least 10 minutes every hour, so what if the screen is glued to your eyes at about 1cm away ?
je ne sais pas and like i said, b/c it doesn't lift off might be the reason why no decent research on the matter exists, but that might also have to do with the united lobbies who could care less bien sur

  14. Re:Sooner it goes, the better on EU Presidency Calls For Massive Internet Filtering, Leaked Document Shows (edri.org) · · Score: 1

The harm it has done probably mostly lies in the fact that it has done nothing. ... more or less... supposing you're american, the EU is nothing like the united lobbies of the free world or mother russia-conglomerate ... it's a paper union, a dream, no one has ever in 2000 years of local history (definitely not before that) actually conquered and united europe whereas the other 'unions' were all forged and baptised in blood and fire (this might still be an option it seems b/c everyone is crying for strong men) . If i go out here and ask 100 people on the EU, i think about 90 will shrug it off due to severe apathy on politics and/or call it "just another layer of taxes". The forced help on member states from anything , greece, whatnot has not gone down very well in a period where cost of life goes up, wages dont and unemployemnt actually goes down. They have virtually handed the place on a silver platter to extremists and now try to combat it with censorship and even raids for speaking out in "hate speech" online and what not and what not
if it were to break it would be a financial disaster for all but the rich ones (mostly those who kept their own currency i suppose) xept luxembourg, no idea how they would be affected by going back to the franc. And theres the thing with refugees (which also was like giving it up to the rightwing on a gold platter) where they just keep taking more than they can afford and every member state just has to go with it. Again, in times where life is costly and income is hard to get, solidarity has its limits , and so on ... they seem to be lofty on human rights but not very shy to break rules for raison d'état. This censorship thing doesnt surprise me at all. I doubt it will pass but the lords of mordor are scared of the monster they created by being very pc-principal if that makes any sense at all , merkel is euhm, definitely not the new hitler but in her attempts to unify she missed a few rotting spots lol ... its a bad economic climate to go save the world and expect a few to carry a lot and its somewhat hard to just turn back ... brexit ... maybe frexit ... if the flemish nationalists had their way they'd not only split from the wallons and brussels, but also from europe (i dont know this works in their dreamworld economically b/c there's virtually no actual production and the bit of tourism certainly cant carry so its services, services services, and logistics ... i can see that here in hickville .. the industrial zone maybe has two or three actual production facilities, the rest is all office and distribution centers) meaning less jobs on the same amount of space people here arent really ashamed to call themselves racist a lot of the time and some arent really ashamed to call out loud how nice it would be if "uncle Dolf" came back and this is not really the hard core of europe so .... if they think censorship is going to fix it, it should show how well they're doing (but maybe i should be careful what i say hahah) most crying for a breakup don't really see the whole consequence of a broken euro and back to the original currency i once read an article on how if greece were to go back to drachme, effective capital of people would be halved, as in can buy half for the money they have now after conversion, im not an economist but i have no reason to disbelieve that either in soviet hellgium, you need a license to wipe your ass, CO-tax soon applied for breathing out ...

  15. should and would ... i think the point is that they have to officially notify / warn you that they're doing it before they're doing it, i dont think the right of the employer to monitor his own lines is on the table here, but the duty to inform their employers if and when they do before they do it.
i agree its their hardware and their lines, just like they get the right to hire and fire whoever they want for whatever reason, no matter how idiotic
i mean its all nice to be pc about it, but if your employer doesnt like you i dont really see the point in forcing him to keep you since your life will be hell , but im drifting off topic again (one of my superpowers ... dispersion and diffusion)
so ... yes, i think its all about the employers duty to inform up front, not about his or her right to keept taps (tabs?) on their own lines or not .. so if you don't like it then you can tell him or her to phrack off and look for another place, and if you don't mind you can just accept the job
pc-europe ... selling the privacy of its citizens, big brothering to the point where any kind of non pc speech can actually get your house raided but when it comes to looking good protecting rights they're good, right, just a bit confusing and obfuscated and don't forget, in soviet europe, any law can be surpassed for raison d'état (yes i say that a lot but thats because it is, in what calls itself western democracy, something like the thing that shouldnt be hm hhmmm...)

but thats not really the thing here ...
took me a while to find the right number but .. as of now there's officially 138941 openings listed in the database (thats the flanders statejobshop, belgium is quite the complex paper structure, no saying how many listings there are in there that are also listed for brussels (which is a separate district with its own governent and its own statejobshop), the total number of (registered) unemployed sapients of legal working age in flanders would be 227.882 (https://arvastat.vdab.be/arvastat_basisstatistieken_werkloosheid.html) for some reason the maps always look green but for some reason the numbers always stay around the same but thats pretty normal for soviet belgium after all none of the administrations would like to get discarded .. so roughly (very roughly) thats 1 job for 2 unemployed fuckers ...
or is it as someone with a low market value (44 years old, no actual degree on paper, and a 13 year old record i dont bother to get away cuz the chance is once in five years and the lawyer cost is high) i have some sight on the data in that base ... the number should be divided by about somewhere between 5-10 because
because every "job" is listed 5-10 times because ...
because every job gets listed by about every available agency, BUT the total number says 138941 ... im not a statistician but i can see how that is going awry as stephen fry english would say ... on top of that we get the temporaries, which arent really separated, on top of that we get the advertising-jobs ... the companies that are "always hiring" ... they always have an application there, just in case someone with 10 doctorates applies for a callcenter job so they can shift the workforce up a notch, but arent really hiring ... theres also the number of vacancies that has been filled but no one bothered to close them, might be anywhere from 1 to 6 months sitting in there, there's ALSO
    etcetera ...
the point that you simply can't train everyone to do anything or just expect anyone to move to the other side of the country for a minimum wage job to go live in a tent until they can gather enough to pay the rent
as a rule of thumb i think the relevant administrations dont mind blowing the numbers up, the politicians have their head up yo mommas ass so they are clueless as usual when it comes to the real world and then the biz and corps who use it as free advertising to "LOOK HOW GOOD WERE DOING" (pardon my french) .. caps ... "we're ALWAYS hiring" high profile on every jobshopsite always first five pages
gives a REAL bad view on how life is for real ... guessing it wont be that different on the macro scale of the united lobbies of the free world, its a particratic bureaucracy as well after all (i know the populist word used but i wouldnt call i that, not here and not there) and SO ... the freeloaders are lazy but EVEN IF the numbers were right, you would still only have 1 job for every 2 slob
