THAT is 'evil crazy shit'. I know it's hard, but try not to confuse the two.

I can't even believe I have to point this out, its quite unreal. As for the muslims, and every other bat shit crazy mother fucker who can't figure out that NO we don't know whats out, fuck em, they need to get over it and if stunts like this manage to help drag their stupid screaming asses into this century, so be it.

Granted this isn't on the small screen but I know when I first brought home our 3D set, my daughter (7) had a similar reaction ad of course we are talking about the under 12 group, but that doesn't make the point any less valid, anything that makes the viewer try to physically interact with it is obviously producing fully believable output. ;-)

Was that you spent the last 1/3rd of the game running around killing American soldiers. I found it to be a very jarring sort of set of circumstances, I suppose thats what it was designed to be, but then again I thought the story in MW2 was heavily convoluted with crap and was a terrible sequel (at least story wise) to the original MW anyhow. That being said, I can't imagine being the Taliban is going to be any fun. Do I get to stone chicks to death and cut off their noses too? Perhaps I'll get to play as someone who lets off a car bomb next to a line of school children heading home? Geez, in addition to watered down crappy console ports, now I have to play as a bad guy doing shitty things all the time. I'm thinking CoD as a series has jumped the shark.

I don't think the video quality matters less, I recently bought a bluray player and hooked up to netflix streaming on a 55" Samsung. One of the first things I watched was the new Alice in Wonderland movie and there were a few scenes in there (most notably when she first lands in the eat me, drink me room...) where the blacks were HORRIBLY pixelated, enough so that I commented to my wife, it was quite literally jarring to see how bad it was and definitely detracted from the viewing experience. I also had the same thing happen during a recent session on Netflix where I was watching the movie Heat. Lots of blacks in the opening sequences that were just horribly pixelated, Im not sure if it was just that the first part of the movie didn't have enough buffered up so they decreased quality in an area where it was most notable or what, but again is was jarring enough that I mentioned it to my teenage boy (he noticed it too).

Was it enough to make me stop watching in either case? No....

but it was bad enough to make me sit up and literally say...WTF is with all this pixelation? If I'm noticing that and not the plot/characters/movie, then its definitely lessoning my enjoyment of the media.

I don't think I can recall another card, that when all other things were equal, a faster bit bus didn't result in a sizable increase in processing power? It was obviously implemented in the previous generation of cards, so why not stick with it, use the GDDR5 and then end up with a card thats even faster?
