In most parts of the world legality trumps any contract. Assaulting people is both illegal and immoral. And yes, I would risk my job if my conscience conflicted with policy. Employers come and go but I am stuck with the consequences of my deeds for the rest of my life. I prefer to look into the mirror with pride.
Yahoo finance is nice, and... euhmmm... nothing really. Besides, 99% of Yahoo finance hits must come from scraper applications. I doubt that they accept cookies.
What is wrong with apologizing to the wronged party? This is how disputes are resolved in a civilized society. Do you think that a huge fine for slandering their opponent would be a more appropriate response?
I remember an online discussion I had about the Collateral Murder video. This guy took the stance that the civilians killed shouldn't be in a war zone. When I tried to convey the idea that the war zone came to their homes by asking my counterpart to imagine Chinese helicopters circling his neighborhood shooting American civilians (in precisely these terms), he accused me of distorting the argument by bringing emotion into it.
Apparently empathy for people from a different part of the world is in short supply with some people. Especially online.
Truth be told, I'm as guilty of this as the next person. When I read about shooting sprees in the US, I don't really care beyond the sensational aspects. I should, but I don't.
If an official ROM did this it would be taken as an evil invasion of privacy by Samsung, HTC or Google, but when the Cyanogen team does it it's immediately accepted as an accident.
I don't live in the US, and I'm not a US citizen, but I don't blame the US for trying to get people extradited. I do however blame my own government for not properly protecting its citizens by complying too easily with every request.
What happens when I promote the hell out of your business, and then file a complaint about "your" marketing practices? Alternatively, I use a robocall service, pay them cash from my secret slush fund and say that I know nothing and I think that one of my competitors is trying to blacken my name and get me fined?
Who voted for these particular incompetent morons into power? Your incompetent morons are a product of your society and culture, just as the incompetent morons that rule me are a product of my society and culture. As horrible as it seems, they are a part of us.
That is ultimately a matter between Twitter and the country in question. Unless you believe that national sovereignty is reserved for the US and its satellite countries.
If my experience is anything to go by, it will be the exact opposite. People with Android and other phones will have no problems but iphone users will be standing there poking at their tiny screen, wondering why their superior machine won't play with non-Apple world. Apparently sending a picture to a photo kiosk (they all seem to run on XP embedded) via bluetooth is beyond its capabilities.
I don't know which leak you are referring to. Manning was caught because he bragged to Adrian Lamo. If he'd kept his mouth shut he might still have been a free man. (as much as anybody in the army is a free man)
I doubt that Samsung has anything left to learn about building ships. Real ships.
But about a million times more fun than the cruiseliner for one in the article.

Let me be the first to welcome the LG marketing department to the thread.
Keep up the good work guys!

Interesting.
So breaking South Korean law is a legitimate reason to change your IMEI number? Do you also put fake number plates on your car when you drive there?

What's worse than being killed?
Public speaking.

As long as they spell it with a zed and not with a zee all is not lost.
I for one would rather die than receive a cure that isn't GPL licenced.

Because they would like to do business in Germany.
Besides, fuck neo nazis.
Since when did a bit of pollution matter to Perrier?
The OKCupid app does alert you when a possible match is nearby. There is also Grindr, but that one may be a disappointment if you're not a gay man.

Sure, but that's the kind of treatment you expect when the Murdoch family is involved.
No, but shit is,
You mean manure? It is a valuable commodity.
Opera is looking better and better!
But Opera is only on version 12.02!
All my sensitive files are exactly 1.45MB.
