How come the #6 most popular search term on google.com.au is "google"?
To delete 3 characters from the address bar? The LAST 3? really??
Canada ranked "google" #6 most popular as well, though with google.ca we're talking about deleting one and adding two letters, come on give us a break.
after having it more than 2 years (just long enough for the warranty to expire) it gave me the Red Ring of Death. Also, the game Civilization Revolution was designed in such a way that it constantly accesses the CD, which in turn burns out the drive.. makes me wonder how they can release such crap.
Oh wait, not the Canadian election that took place last night? I'm surprised, usually slashdot will run an article about our federal election, but not this time.
Our Prime Minister won another minority government, which in my opinion is about as bad as the U.S. voting Bush in again (electronic voting issues aside). Stephen Harper has been lock-step wish G.W. Bush the whole way, destroying our identity while caving in to big business interests. Looks like we have another 3-5 years of going down the wrong road ahead of us.
If only we had some sort of proportional representation system like all other democracies outside of this continent..
Hey, here's an idea. The next time you post something here, summarize it. If I want to read it all, give me a link. I came here to waste a few minutes--not all day. I'd love to know the highlights of the article, but that is more time that I have. Someone who has the time, how about a two minutes highlight summary posted for the rest of us.
It was a very entertaining read; the author a good writer. If you can't appreciate that, here's my cereal box.
I was including Insurance in the price. Insurance (at least in canada) can be provided by your credit card co.
Not to mention the money you fork out for a car in the first place, which only depreciates in value over time. So yes, I'm sure every car owner spends more than $100/mn avg on their coffin. Not to mention the car culture is something i find personally disturbing on so many levels.
I'm not hating on everyone who owns cars, but the myth that car=freedom is damning.
The n00b will be more tense, maybe translating to a shakier sight in a FPS. You will be relaxed, and your sight will stay true. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Poor pedophiles, what did they jack off too before the internet?
good answer, deserves a better rating
what he said.
...it's still the Large Hardon Collider in my mind.

Then maybe they'll get back to "inspirational" names.
does an article like this come up? once every 2 months?
simply, yes, you are right. However, for discussion purposes, a bit short of a response.
thx for sharing!
its' +4 now. Maybe I'll get a +5 for pointing that out. and one of the hidden comments was actually a score 5. wtf...
clarify.

I've been car-less all my life. We rent a car when we need one. ~$100/month spent on a car. Live urban, not suburban, and this will be easy.

I somehow doubt he actually believes in jailing these people. He's simply pointing out their guilt, to reduce the guilt of his own country's people.
Well Said. My thoughts exactly.
