Agreed, they have already done this in the theatres so you should expect it. I don't really care if these are full movies, I can easily take a few ads in my face for that.

Won't be a few years until this is actually at a point where people can actually buy it though...by that time there'll be another bleeding edge processor on the next big GFX card.

Yeah, I think it's already happening with big box retailers taking a lot of their business, which is probably one of the largest reasons they went under in the first place.

It's definitely limiting free speech and I agree. There need to be people voicing their opinions in any medium possible. The medium of choice for younger generations is the internet, so these speakers need to be there and they need to be heard; everything they have to say.

It's impossible to buy a Wii without Wii sports in teh US as far as I'm aware. That's outrageous. This is one training session too! I guess more power to them if they can actually get people to pay that much just to do something. Heck, for the price of 3 sessions you could just do it at home with your own Wii.

I think that's a cop out. Price is the biggest factor, because for some people no matter what you're paying, as long as it's something is going to be too much, especially when you can relatively easily take things from the intarwebs.

Capitalism as opposed to what though? There doesn't seem to be an actual answer here. Communism? That may work in theory but in practice, the same attitudes that make capitalism destroy a communist society.

You'd think it would be easy enough to click the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of most emails. Marking spam for something you consented to, even if it was a while ago, is pretty irresponsible. I'd also question why people would ever sign up to receive an email chain if they'd one day get tired of reading it.

After millions of years of evolution though..many animals today still maintain a color. Colors have their reasons in the wild. Regardless, I think it will be cool to see how these things were colored if they can be accurately rebuilt.

  15. Richard Branson? on SpaceX Launch Fails To Reach Space · · Score: 1

While what he's doing certainly isn't space travel but he's engaging in a somewhat dangerous voyage in a privatized way. Here's to hoping he gets out on his maiden trip better than this. This seems to be bad for the private space industry as a whole though. The only company that's legitimately in the business has failed repeatedly. I wonder what the results would be if we saw contracting companies like Boeing and Lockheed try..

I was under the impression that things accessed on a public computer were the rights of the public more or less. Not to mention the libraries are operated by the government more or less so they are the definition of public property. And to be quite honest..if this is an after the fact collection of evidence against that guy, I don't have a problem with it. The problem arises when at the drop of a hat they are searching people's things looking for problems. In this case, they claimed to already have information about what he had done..which is probable cause to me..
