I use Sophos' UTM product. http://www.sophos.com/en-us/pr.... It is not open source and grandma is not going to use this, but it is rock solid. Honestly the primary reason is country blocking and the daily email reports on the previous day/week/month's activities. You have to get a PC for it, but a small form factor ATOM processor box with works well and has a low power consumption.
ESXi is free. It replaced vmware server. You still need equipment on the hardware compatibility list to run it but it makes for a nice virtual server. Google 'ESXi free' and you should see one of the hits as a feature matrix.
If you want to make yourself valuable with Exchange, start learning PowerShell. A huge bulk of the administration is command line through PowerShell scripts now. For SQL, start working towards a MCDBA. Check and see if there is a MSSQL user group near your area. They usually have training sessions during meeting and it would prove to be very valuable for networking with people in the industry when you start looking for a position. One of the best suggestions (as mentioned before) is pound the virtual labs.
Dude most of that is configuration. Mailbox sizes are dictated by your Exchange administrators. Syncing your mainframe password with your Active Directory account has nothing to do with Exchange/Outlook. While you can use it to change your password, you should be doing it through the OS through either Ctrl-Alt-Delete or old school (like me) through the command line.
Not sure how much you get, but they have all my spam filtered out a heck'va lot better than hotmail. I swapped in 2005 and was getting pounded with spam. So I wonder how good their spam filters will be in the re-write.
You can still use the Labels as folders. With Labs you can set them to have a parent/child relationship to look like traditional folders. The Outlook.com looks slick and they are including intergration to several sources. It should be really nice and I'm sure people will love it. It might be a good Grandma/non-techie solution. I am not giving up my gmail though.
"New Jersey now also dominates the top 5 list of fastest broadband cities" could easily be viewed as "The state New Jersey now also dominates the top 5 list of fastest broadband cities". This does not imply New Jersey's clasification as a city, but moreso that the list is is a classification of cities. The state dominates the list as containing more cities with broadband than other states. Key words: "New Jersey now...dominates...the...list" and "list of...fastest...cities"
"Tennessee has become the first state in the nation to welcome the federal government’s latest anti-terrorist program: Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR).The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) created VIPR in December 2005, to inspect bus, rail and truck stations for potential threats"
Why are you driving your car on Rails?
People react different. I used to drink 8-10 cokes a day. I quit cold turkey twice. Once was back in the late 90s and once again last year; however I did not experiance any headaches. I read you could expect massive heads but never encountered the symptoms.
I think we have all lost either a family member/friend/coworker to cancer. It seems they are making a lot of progress. Not long ago was the method to use reprogrammed safe HIV. I really hope cancer can take the polio route soon.
Or like mentioned above. Snag the Bluetooth ID for the person you do not like and have the phone ring (play an file) when they are around. Make sure you have states for not being on the phone or the phone is already ringing.
Hmmm. I may need to go visit my boss and get his ID. Then have it vibrate/flash the LED. Nice warning system.
While we're on the topic of crowdsourcing and truecrypt, how about we get someone to rebuild it open sourced?
"For internal use only"
Wish I had mod points today. you sir, hit the bullseye.

I doubt anyone cares, but this is the RFC for IP6's architecture. https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc35...
There is always the possibility it could have been executed through the security patch subsystem. It has the capacity to execute scripts/executables.

There is still the whole GSM vs CDMA issue.

No proof, but pretty sure they do. Newer Accounts and no/low post counts. They are rather easy to spot.

So it has five moons, but they still do not classify it as a planet?

I will sell you a gourmet "." to put between Beach and Are.

It is still criminal evidence. Why not use it?
